Brooklyn Beckham has been savaged by fans after making a breakfast sandwich on his Today Show cooking segment.
The likes of Gino D’Acampo and Gordon Ramsay would usually appear on TV for a cooking segment to pull together a dish that many haven’t made before – but Posh and Becks’ son didn’t follow suit.
The famous 22-year-old instead opted to pull together a sandwich as part of his cooking debut, while hosts Hoda Kotb and Carson Daly eagerly watched him.
Brooklyn said he “really started to get into it” when quarantine hit and when his fiancée Nicola Peltz started filming him, he realised it was a great hobby of his.

He put together his “recipe” on the show after Brooklyn slowly started posting videos of him cooking online – and although he was praised for his great sandwich on the show, viewers had different thoughts.
Taking to Twitter, one user wrote: “Brooklyn Beckham went on TV to show his culinary skills and cooked… a breakfast sandwich. I am done.”
Another said: “Brooklyn Beckham showed us how to make a bacon sandwich, really?”
A third wrote: “Brooklyn Beckham (son of David and Victoria) came on Today Show to share his new passion for cooking. He made a breakfast sandwich. With a ketchup drizzle.”

Celebs also joined to weigh in on the debut, with Piers Morgan calling it the most “unutterably pointless segment in morning television history”.
However, Lorraine Kelly did back Brooklyn on her ITV show on Thursday morning as she said it likely wasn’t his choice to make the breakfast sandwich.
She stated that she felt sorry for the celeb as she joked that she would be getting him on the following day to make beans on toast.

The TV star put the choice down to the TV bosses as she shared her support for Brooklyn.
Brooklyn, who has been posting clips of his cooking on his Instagram stories, has quite a strong repertoire – a far stretch from the breakfast sandwich he made on the show.
He’s given various different dishes a go on his profile, and clearly has been making some good dishes, but they didn’t quite make the cut for his segment on the show.
