Chanelle Hayes plans full-body lift to remove excess skin after 7st weight loss

Chanelle Hayes is planning an operation to remove her excess skin after undergoing a gastric sleeve surgery last year, which saw the former Big Brother star drop 7.5st.

The star has been incredibly candid about her journey, sharing updates of her highs, lows and future plans along the way.

After dropping from a size 18 to a size 10 since her surgery, Chanelle has been incredibly proud of her progress – but she has admitted that she has loose skin which is now causing her pain.

Speaking to Closer magazine, Chanelle explained that she would be opting for a surgery to remove her excess skin, but said she won’t be having surgery on her limbs because she wants to avoid scarring on her arms and legs.

The mother-of-two has said that her weight loss made her more confident and happy, but added: “From a practical point of view, the loose skin and wonky boobs have been a nightmare.

“I’ve got sagging around my middle and my boobs have totally changed shape – and it really chafes.”

She explained that she has been applying talcum powder constantly to stop the pain.

Despite her weight loss, Chanelle has said that she still wouldn’t want to get her clothes off on holiday because of her skin.

As well as the excess skin removal, Chanelle reportedly plans to get her breast implants replaced for a smaller size.

The TV personality previously said in an Instagram post that she had hit her goal weight of 9st 10lbs after previously weighing in at “around 17st” prior to the surgery.

Chanelle had previously been documenting her weight loss constantly on Instagram, but she took some time away from the platform to gain a new skill under her belt.

The beauty shared an update yesterday telling her followers that she is now an insured non-medic aesthetic practitioner after going on a course to help her master injectables and aesthetics.

Her new qualification comes alongside her plans to qualify as a nurse, and she noted that as a qualified aesthetic practitioner, it would complement her nursing career well.

Chanelle has undergone the ultimate overhaul since last August, with not only her weight loss but her career change as well – and it looks like she’s excited to continue in her next steps along the way.
