Charley Webb urges fans to get checked as she goes to hospital for boob pain

Emmerdale star Charley Webb shared some personal information with her fans this week, revealing she had undergone a scan after experiencing pain in one of her breasts.

The actress, 32, encouraged her fans to get any concerning medical issues checked immediately, admitting she was initially reluctant to visit her doctor.

Recounting the hospital visit, Charley – who plays Debbie Dingle on Emmerdale – explained she was “really happy” to get the issue looked at by a medical professional.

While Charley did not mention receiving any results, she added that “touchwood everything’s okay”.

Speaking to the camera on Instagram stories, she said: “I went to the doctor’s last week because I’ve been having this pain in my boob which I know Is really personal but I wanted to talk about it because I put it off for ages.

“She referred me to the hospital to go and get a scan. Touchwood everything’s okay, I went to the hospital yesterday.”

Reaching out to her fans, Charley encouraged her followers to get “checked” if they are experiencing any unusual health concerns during the lockdown.

She said: “I put it off and put it off because I was so worried about going into them with anything at the moment, with everything that going on.

“I just hope no one is feeling like that and if there’s something that you’re worried about then you should go and get it checked because there are other issues going on in the world, not just the pandemic.

“There is other stuff and that’s okay.

“Im really glad that I did it. The hospital is dead. She said they’re only seeing people if they really need to. And cause I had to be examined she had to see me.”

Bringing the clip to a close, she added: “The hospital was really quiet, It was done properly, everything was safe.”

The mum-of-three, who is married to her Emmerdale co-star Matthew Wolfenden, is known for her candid and open approach with her followers, documenting her life on social media.

Charley recently returned to the cast of Emmerdale, as Debbie returned to the village after nearly one year of absence, having spent some time in Scotland.

In typical Emmerdale fashion, Debbie was instantly in the heart of the drama, finding herself caught in a love triangle with Al Chapman, played by Michael Wildman, and Priya Sharma (Fiona Wade).
