Charlotte Church blasted radio host Chris Moyles yesterday for previously offering to take her virginity when she reached 16.
The 35-year-old singer recalled the “gross treatment” from back in 2002 on Chris’ radio show on Radio One.
Speaking to on the Sink The Pink Pop Tart podcast, Charlotte candidly opened up on the hardships of kickstarting a career at the tender age of 12.
The singer revealed on air: “There was a countdown to me losing my virginity.
“The Sun had done a countdown then Chris Moyles talked about it on Radio One. It was all a bit gross really.”
She added: “We’ve come a certain way but there’s a long way to go in terms of feminism and equality but there are bigots everywhere and hopefully we can heal them all.
“Maybe some of them will just have to die out.”
In 2002 Chris sparked backlash from listeners when he said live on-air that he would like to take Charlotte’s virginity when she reached 16.
Chris was 28 years old at the time he made the controversial comments.
The BBC excused the remark as an example of his dark and cheeky humour.
Charlotte also announced on the podcast that she had given birth to a baby girl six months ago.
She told fans: “‘I would love to introduce you to my little baby. Covid realness honey.”

She then brought her little bundle of joy on camera to introduce her to the world.
Back in 2017 she revealed she had suffered a miscarriage, releasing a statement at the time stating: “Charlotte and Jonny are very sad to announce that they lost their baby.
“Now is a time for grieving and being together as a family. We kindly ask everyone to respect that peace.”
But she announced last year she was pregnant again in a tweet after pulling out of an event due to the coronavirus.
She wrote: “Gutted to have missed it. I’m preggers so I’m airing on the side of caution in terms of virus.”
The songstress kept the birth a secret due to the pandemic but was forced to lift the lid after Holly Willoughby accidentally let it slip on This Morning.
Holly mistakenly asked: “You’ve got the three kids now. How is home schooling?”, seemingly confirming the birth of the singer’s third child.
Charlotte is married to Jonathon Powell and has two other children Ruby, 12, and Dexter, 11 with former Wales rugby player, Gavin Henson.
