Chrissy Teigen replaced by Gigi Hadid on Netflix show amid cyber-bulling scandal

Supermodel Gigi Hadid has replaced Chrissy Teigen on Netflix show Never Have I Ever.

The wife of John Legend stepped down from the TV role last month over as cyber-bullying claims emerged.

An excited Gigi, 26, took to Instagram on Thursday to share a promo clip for the comedy-drama and she could be heard doing the voiceover.

The supermodel, who is dating ex-One Direction star Zayn Malik, is narrating for the character of high school hunk Paxton Hall-Yoshida (played by Darren Barnet) who is shown laying down while staring at the celling.

The mother of one could then be heard saying: ‘This is Paxton Hall-Yoshida. He’s a 16-year-old boy from Sherman Oaks, California.

“And I am model, designer, activist, and a former 16-year-old from California, Gigi Hadid.”

There are then photos shown of the stunner in a bikini top, at the Met Gala, and on the runway.

The blonde model captioned the video to her 68million followers: “Had the BEST time getting to narrate a new episode of @neverhaveiever — I got your back, Pax! Check out Season 2, NOW on @netflix !!!!

In the first season of Never Have I Ever, which began streaming in April 2020, tennis legend John McEnroe starred as himself as he did the narration.

The second season of the series starring Gigi is currently streaming now on Netflix.

Chrissy bowed out of the voice role on the second season of the Netflix series in June this year.

She was set to be one of the guest narrators for the series but walked away the gig amid the fallout following her cyberbullying scandal.

A spokesperson for Netflix said at the time: ‘Chrissy Teigen has decided to step away from a guest voiceover role in one episode of the upcoming second season of Never Have I Ever.”

Chrissy addressed the scandal for the first time since her June apology on Wednesday as she shared an Instagram snap of her view from “cancel club.”

In her caption, the media personality told her 34.9million followers how it ‘”feels so weird to pretend like nothing happened” while she feels like “utter s**t in real life” while explaining how she misses connecting with her fans.

The star went on to quip that “cancel club” was “fascinating,’ but that she’s ‘learned a whole lot” from the experience.
