Chrissy Teigen has been at the centre of media controversy for quite some time now due to the cyber-bullying allegations that had previously been made against her.
But now the model is hoping to clear the air with an Oprah Winfrey styled interview, according to reports.
Sources claim that Chrissy, 35, is in talks with the famous talk show host to possibly do an interview where she tells all. She hopes the chat will mirror Meghan Markle’s candid interview with Oprah that aired on ITV in March.
Talking to Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice podcast a close source said Chrissy is currently “being advised to go into hiding and lay low”.
The source also said: “Chrissy is in talks with Oprah to do a Meghan Markle sit-down type interview and tell her truth.
“Chrissy is a fighter and believes that she is such an excellent communicator that there isn’t a mess she can’t talk her way out of!”
They added: “Every news outlet in the world has contacted Chrissy about getting her first on-camera interview, but Oprah is her first choice. If Oprah can forgive Chrissy, then so can the nation.”
After her old tweets that she sent to Courtney Stodden, as well as Farrah Abraham, resurfaced, Chrissy has apologised for her actions.
In a self-published Medium article on Monday, the mother-of-two wrote a lengthy message where she admitted that she was previously a “troll” but claimed she is no longer that person anymore.
In the lengthy message, Chrissy declared: “I’ve apologised publicly to one person, but there are others — and more than just a few — who I need to say I’m sorry to. I’m in the process of privately reaching out to the people I insulted.
“It’s like my own version of that show My Name is Earl! I understand that they may not want to speak to me. I don’t think I’d like to speak to me. (The real truth in all of this is how much I actually cannot take confrontation.) But if they do, I am here and I will listen to what they have to say, while apologising through sobs.
“There is simply no excuse for my past horrible tweets. My targets didn’t deserve them. No one does. Many of them needed empathy, kindness, understanding and support, not my meanness masquerading as a kind of casual, edgy humour.
“I was a troll, full stop. And I am so sorry.”
But things haven’t seemed to die down for John Legend’s wife, as Project Runway’s Michael Costello came forward this week to say he had “thoughts of suicide” after he was allegedly bullied by Chrissy.
Since the backlash the top model has been dropped by several companies, including Safely, the cleaning brand she founded with business mogul Kris Jenner.

Her Cravings cookware has also been removed from certain stores.
She’s also pulled out of Netflix’s Never Have I Ever since the controversial tweets came to light.
Courtney Stodden previously said that Chrissy was sending them a barrage of nasty tweets in 2011.
One of the tweets that the model sent directly to Courtney read: “My Friday fantasy: you. dirt nap. mmmmmm baby,” followed by: “Go. to sleep. forever.”
