Coleen Rooney has admitted she found the recent lockdown amid the coronavirus pandemic “tough”.
It saw her and husband and footballer Wayne Rooney have to homeschool their four children as schools across the country shut in a bid to contain and stop the spread of the deadly virus which has killed millions worldwide.
During a supportive message to other parents, the WAG addressed how she herself has found it a difficult year.
The 34-year-old now joins the nation in waiting to send her children back to school on Monday as parents up and down the UK get their kids things ready for their first day back in the classroom.

Taking to her official Twitter account, Coleen, who is the mum to Kai, Klay, Kit and Cass Mac, congratulated herself and other parents.
Coleen tweeted: “A massive congratulations to all us Mums, Dads, family members, carers, teachers and children for getting through homeschooling the past few months!!
“I found it tough!! So glad school is back.
“Have a lovely weekend,” followed by an emoji of a red heart.

Many of Coleen’s 1.2 million Twitter followers rushed to reply to the tweet as over 2,000 people liked it.
Coleen did reply to one fan who tweeted: “I found it easy, if the kids know what they are doing and with the teachers coming online, there wasn’t much for us to do.”
Coleen hit back: “My 11 year old was fine getting on with it but my 7 and 5 year old needed my help.”
She also responded to another fan who wrote: “Don’t think my poor wife cud take any more home schooling.”

The star replied: “It was hard work,” followed by the emoji sweating and crying.
Coleen also took the time to reply “thank you” to a fan who congratulated her on her own parenting.
Other fans also rushed to share their thoughts and send messages of support to other mums and dads.
One folllower penned: “Totally understand now when teachers say my 12 year old needs to work more independently. Had to do everything with him!”
A second said: “Great for the kids they need it now! But going to miss having my babies at home – I loved it.”
However some other fans were not so kind in their responses, one made a dig at Coleen saying: “I hope in time you look back on this home schooling time with fondness, you seem a great Mum so I’m sure you will.”
