Coronation Street fans will recognise Zeedan's wife star from BBC's Line Of Duty

Coronation Street viewers will witness the arrival of Zeedan Nazir’s estranged wife Marrium in upcoming scenes.

Actress Kiran Landa, who plays the new arrival, is the latest newbie to join the long-running ITV soap – but she’s definitely not a newbie to television.

Line of Duty fans will recognise Kiran from playing Leila Bains in the award-winning BBC cop drama.

Leila was married to PC Hari Bains, a firearms officer in the show, and was pregnant with the couple’s second child when first introduced on the programme.

Marrium will undoubtedly be stirring up trouble for Zeedan, played by Kasim Akhtar, as she arrives in Weatherfield ready to dish the dirt and expose all his home truths.

Kiran famously played Leila in the third series of Line of Duty where she was introduced as PC Hari Bain’s wife, carrying his second child in the episode ‘Monsters’.
