Coronation Street hints at Kelly death as she collapses in scary scenes

Coronation Street fans can expect much more drama next week as things take a terrifying turn when Kelly Neelan becomes involved with drugs.

The character will collapse after taking a pill, leaving her those around her terrified.

In upcoming episodes, Asha will be concerned as she feels Nina slipping away, so plans to surprise her with a night away in a hotel.

Presuming it’s Nina rushing things, Dev confronts the character, letting slip Asha’s plans.

Nina gently explains to Asha that she’s not ready for a sexual relationship and suggests they should revert back to being just friends.

Devastated, Asha suggests to Kelly and Summer that they buy some pills and get wasted.

However, viewers will see the storyline take a terrifying turn as Kelly collapses.

The girls call an ambulance, and go to the hospital with Kelly.

Dev arrives and is shocked when Asha reveals that Kelly took a pill.

He marches into the cafe and accuses Nina of having something to do with Kelly’s drug taking.

Nina explains that she and Asha split up, she knows nothing about drugs and he should go easy on Asha as she’s clearly upset.

Will Kelly survive? Viewers will have to wait to see if the character pulls through – but anything is possible in Soap Land.

Gary Windass killed Kelly’s dad Rick in self defence (Image: ITV)

Kelly is the daughter of loan shark Rick Neelan who Gary ended up murdering in self defence in 2019 and burying in the woods.

Soon after Rick’s didn’t pick her up from school, Kelly arrived on the cobbles as she started questioning Gary about where her Dad had vanished to.

Gary began paying Kelly’s school fees in order to cover up the fact he’d killed her father.

It seems Kelly still isn’t aware that Gary murdered her father, but Windass is currently in prison after covering up for his sister Faye.

Faye had attacked Adam, thinking he was the evil Ray Crosby who had sexually assaulted her.

Coronation Street airs on Mondays and Wednesdays 7.30pm and 8.30pm with an hour long episode at 7.30 on Fridays on ITV
