Corrie spoilers hint at triple exit, Tyrone and Fiz split and deportation twist

Coronation Street spoilers have promised yet another week of gripping highs and devastating lows on the cobbles, with sad goodbyes and blossoming romances.

To kick things off, Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) and her son Simon Barlow (Alex Bain) are left with no choice but to move away, much like Alex Warner (Liam Bairstow), who has been a victim of trolling.

Elsewhere, Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) plays matchmaker for Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver) and George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley), while Fiz Brown (Jenny McAlpine) gets her heart broken by Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall).

And, Alina Pop (Ruxandra Porojnicu) is at risk of getting deported after a mystery caller reports her to the authorities.

Below are the juiciest Corrie spoilers of the week – don’t miss an episode.

One of Harvey’s (Will Mellor) drug dealers appears at the flat and starts bagging up drugs, leading Leanne to slip out and secretly meet up with the police.

When Harvey realises he has been grassed up, he confronts Leanne, who tearfully confesses she was the one who dobbed him in.

Leanne realises she has no choice but to move away with Simon, leaving Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) heartbroken as he confesses his love for her.

There is a tender moment between Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) and Simon, as the teen tells his dad he loves him, despite his absence in recent months.

With Leanne and Simon leaving Weatherfield behind, will they ever return?

Deportation twist

Tyrone runs into Alina and tells her it was Fiz who asked her to move away, rather than him.

When he sees an Immigration van outside the salon, he assumes the worst and races to speak to Alina, checking if she is okay.

Alina explains someone reported her to the authorities for tax evasion, and now immigration is searching her home for evidence.

Tyrone sees red and immediately assumes Fiz filed the report in a desperate attempt to keep them apart.

As Tyrone’s feelings become clear, is Alina at risk of getting deported?

When Fiz learns Tyrone told Alina it wasn’t his decision to tell her to move away, she is furious, realising his loyalty lies with the Romanian beauty.

Fiz tries to arrange a family caravan holiday in the hopes of bringing some light back into their relationship and sets about packing.

Later, when Tyrone accuses Fiz of handing Alina over to the immigration authorities, she is outraged he thinks she is capable of such an act.

When Fiz confronts him and asks him to put his feelings on the table, Tyrone confesses he has fallen hard for Alina.

Fiz admits to Chesney Brown (Sam Aston) their relationship died a long time ago, as Tyrone packs his bags and moves into Kevin Webster’s (Michael Le Vell) place.

Is this the end of Tyrone and Fiz’s long-running romance?

Alex makes a sudden exit

Cathy Matthews (Melanie Hill) comes clean to Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) and Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) about the trolling, admitting she is the one behind Lemon Drop’s vile messages.

Tracy is furious, but Cathy’s nephew Alex bravely tries to stick up for his aunt, taking to social media to support her.

Sadly, Alex is then trolled in turn, leading Cathy to decide it would be best for him to go stay with his mum in Scotland until the online abuse subsides.

Has Cathy thrown a grenade into her life, threatened those she loves the most?

New romance on the cobbles

Todd decides to matchmake his mum with undertaker George

Todd decides to play matchmaker when Eileen calls at the undertakers and he realises George harbours a crush on her.

Shooting cupid’s arrow, he tells George that Eileen thinks highly of him, claiming she referred to him as “classy and dignified”.

George is secretly delighted and is even more thrilled when Eileen invites him over for dinner, upon Todd’s recommendation.

Is this the beginning of a beautiful romance on the street?

Wedding heartache

Peter learns he will need a liver transplant in order to survive

Carla Connor (Alison King) proves her loyalty to Peter by cutting all ties with Lucas (Glen Wallace), insisting she no longer wants to do business with him in the factory.

She steps down from her job and promises Peter she will stay by his side, as their wedding date looms.

Sadly, Peter receives some bad news from the doctor, who explains he will need a liver transplant in order to survive.

Will Peter manage to undergo the procedure in time to marry the woman of his dreams?

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
