Corrie's Alya star reveals boyfriend's uncanny resemblance to Game of Thrones actor

Coronation Street star Sair Khan, 33, has left fans gobsmacked as she revealed her boyfriend’s shocking resemblance to a Game of Thrones actor – and it’s not who you’d expect.

33-year-old Sair, who plays Alya Nazir in the ITV soap, shared a rare photo of her boyfriend on her Instagram story where she compared him to the Game Of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke.

In the Instagram boomerang, Sair can be seen posing next to her much taller, handsome boyfriend, where she makes the hit fantasy show comparison – and the resemblance is weirdly accurate.

She had written on the boomerang: “Why does my boyfriend look like Emilia Clarke?” with an Instagram sticker of a short-haired Emilia Clarke turning her head attached beside Sair and her partner, Nathan Chilton.

Sair made the uncanny resemblance on her Instagram story

Emilia Clarke is most iconically known for playing Daenerys Targaryen, The Mother of Dragons in HBO’s Game Of Thrones.

Although it’s quite odd, Sair’s comparison between the Hollywood actress and her boyfriend, Nathan, is surprisingly quite correct.

Although they’re both different sexes and easily very different heights, Sair’s partner Nathan, a 6ft+, short-haired chiropractor, shares similar features with the Hollywood actress Emilia Clarke – as they both don the same smile and undoubtedly have similar facial features.

Sair Khan is known for playing the role of Alya Nazir in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street since 2014.

The 33-year-old actress has made her name playing the heartbroken businesswoman in Coronation Street since 2014.

She previously dated rival soap actor Simon Lennon, who played Ben Tucker in Emmerdale, for two years after meeting at Buckingham Palace, but they split in 2019.

Earlier in the year, Sair dedicated herself to learning how to swim to take part in the Channel 4 show Sink or Swim for Stand Up To Cancer – a show where celebrities have just 12 weeks to train for a relay swim across the English Channel.

She revealed the tragic news of her mum passing away on the Channel 4 show and talked about how helpful the challenge had been for her.

Fans praised Sair for her openness and honesty following the loss of her mum.

She wrote: “My Mum died. It’s so hard for me to say those words without getting a lump in my throat”

“Let me tell you a thing or two about the lady I called Mama. She was strong and fierce and a little bit sassy. You definitely wouldn’t mess with her.”

Fans praised Sair for her openness and honesty following the loss.

Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday on ITV at 7.30 pm and 8.30pm
