Dancing On Ice star Connor Ball is gearing up for the start of the new series – and is ready to bring show-stopping performances.
The bass guitarist offered fans a special behind-the-scenes clip of him lifting and spinning his pro partner on social media.
The 25-year-old shared the video on Instagram ahead of the 14th series of the ITV show’s arrival early next year.
The skating reality contest sees 12 celebrities battle it out with pro dancers over several weeks, after gruelling training sessions and in some cases nasty injuries.
The Vamps Connor posted the clip and captioned it: “Ready for take off”, tagging pro Alexandra Schauman.
Alex replied: “Thanks for the first-class flight!”
Fans are eagerly awaiting the 2022 series and rushed to the comments impressed with Connor’s skills so early on in training.
One wrote: “I’m obsessed, I can’t wait for the show.”
Another joked: “No way, that’s not you,” but someone else penned: “Connor for France Olympics 2024.”
And a fourth added: “OMG well done that’s amazing!”
The star recently admitted he is jealous of his competitors after seeing them show off their skills on the ice already.
He told The Sun: “I think I Kye and Regan are actually really good because even on the first step day we did, I was with them two… and I was like, how are they this level already?!
“Which is pretty mad… so I’m kind of jealous.”
Despite eyeing up the competition in Paul Gascoigne’s son Regan, he says the celebrities are getting on like a house on fire and have their own WhatsApp group.
He added: “It’s cool because we’ve actually got a group chat with all the contestants together in it, and we’re planning drinks.
“So no one’s like, ‘I hate them and I want to beat everyone’.
The star confessed training has been harder than he initially thought it would be.
But he admits when it’s going well, with former 2019 champ Alex, “it’s great”.
Connor also confessed he’s never picked up skating or dancing before, so the show has presented challenges in more than one way.
Despite trying to pick up the new skill, the star wants to make it look effortless when the TV show launches in January.
He added: “It is a struggle. It’s way harder than I thought. When you look at it, people make it look easy.
“That’s how skilled they are because they’re making all these really hard things look easy. So I want to get to that point where I can move and it looks like I’m not struggling.”
