Dancing On Ice star Kimberly Wyatt smashes head on ice in horror fall during training

Dancing On Ice star Kimberly Wyatt smashed her head on the ice in a horror fall during training ahead of the ITV live shows.

The Pussycat Doll was training with partner Mark Henretty when she came crashing down into the ice.

The 39-year-old was dressed in all black as she learnt the new moves alongside her professional partner.

The blonde beauty appeared to lose her balance as she performed fancy footwork and span around with her arms in the air while in sync with Mark.

The slip caused the American dancer to come plummeting down onto her back and smash her head on the ice.

Kimberly shared the behind the scenes clip to her Instagram telling fans how it was “all going so well…”.

The star shrugged off the fall by getting back up and posted a second video reassuring fans that she was uninjured despite some bruising.

Kimberly penned: “Don’t worry….I’m fine… Elbow is pretty bruised but otherwise fine.”

The horror fall comes after Kimberly shared clips of her incredible flexibility while stretching between training sessions.

The star was seen sitting in the splits facing the camera with her arms in a ballet position above her head.

Slowly, the star rotated her hips around while still sitting in the splits to face away from the camera, showcasing her peachy derriere.

Kimberly will be joining the likes of Coronation Street’s Sally Dynevor, Happy Mondays’ Bez, Love Island’s Liberty Poole and former Strictly pro Brendan Cole in the Dancing On Ice lineup.

The ITV hit show will launch in January 2022, without former judge John Barrowman after he was axed from the show last week.

The showman will be preparing to host ITV’s new prime time show called All Star Musicals.

She reassured fans that she was uninjured after the horror slip

Dancing On Ice judge Ashley Banjo was left unimpressed by the news.

Banjo told the Daily Star Sunday: “I’m very sad to see John leave the show. I’m going to miss him. I sent him a little message to say, ‘You will be missed, John’.

“I did that because at the end of the day we’re all human.

“As far as I’m concerned, it’s not about showbiz – it’s about human relationships.”

He went on: “When I heard that all of a sudden he’s not going to be there, I wanted to reach out to check he’s cool. It’s as simple as that.”

And Ashley plans to stay pals with him.

He added: “John is great energy. He always treated me with nothing but respect. I’m sure he will go on to bigger and better things.

“Hopefully, we’ll get a chance to catch up soon.”
