Dani Dyer has allegedly split from her boyfriend and father of her child, Sammy Kimmence.
According to a source who spoke to MailOnline about the couple’s relationship, the Love Island star is now committed to working on life as a single parent with their son Santiago, after her boyfriend was jailed for a £34k scam on Wednesday.
Speaking to the publication the source claimed: “She is absolutely floored by what’s happened with Sammy. She knows she has to make massive changes in her life and she’s so distraught.
“All she knows is that her baby boy Santiago is the only thing that matters now and she is trying to work out how best to look after him as a single parent.”
Daily Star has contacted Dani’s reps for comment.
Dani and Sammy had an on-off relationship and dated briefly before she entered Love Island in 2018, according to reports.
The TV personality went on to win Love Island with fellow islander Jack Fincham but once the pair had split, Dani rekindled her flame with Sammy.
Though things were going fairly well for the pair fans expressed their concerns over her new flame, but Dani took to social media to defend her beau.
At the start of their relationship, she said: “You all can say what you want to say honestly we live in a free world. But I’m so f happy.
“I ain’t living a life to prove to people or to fake to people I am something I am not I’ve always been real. Some people like it some people don’t. I’m focusing on number one. No time for anything no plans made it’s just happened and you can judge all you want.”
On Wednesday it was revealed that Sammy would be going to jail for three and a half years for scamming two pensioners out of an £34,000.
The 25-year-old, who previously worked as a stockbroker and amateur footballer, posed as a financial advisor and swindled two elderly men out of their savings.
One of the pensioners who was scammed claimed Sammy left him with zero funds in his account and living on the “breadline”.
Sammy manipulated Peter Martin, 91, and Peter Haynes, 81, by convincing the vulnerable pensioners to let him invest their money for them and but he used the cash to splash out on expensive restaurants, hotels and clothes instead.
During the hearing the judge said: “You defrauded two men of significant sums of money, both were elderly gentlemen, neither was a wealthy man.
“Whilst these men trusted you, you used their money to fund your lifestyle.
“This was a significant abuse of trust.”
Suspicions rose regarding the state of Dani and Sammy’s relationship on Wednesday after Dani did not appear in court to support him.
Instead, the reality star updated her followers online that she was going on holiday with her son.
