Danniella Westbrook has told fans that her operation for a sinus infection was a “huge success”.
The former EastEnders star left her followers worried when she was taken into hospital, and it was reported that she was in the intensive care unit.
But she has now assured her fans that everything went well.
“Thanks for all the messages of support for my operation,” she tweeted.
“It was a huge success and I’m so happy thank you to @LivHospitals and the best staff surgical team and cleanest hospital ever x #NHS #Liverpool.”
Danniella – who found fame playing Sam Mitchell in Albert Square – later posted another message revealing she was getting very festive.
“Woke up to a winter wonderland,” she tweeted.
“Perfect day 2 chill, watch Christmas movies, bake bread & cookies, start online Christmas shopping & enjoy a cozy day.
“The reality is, I have to do a food shop, unpack storage boxes, load a skip with the junk from the renovation : enjoy the weekend x.”
Fans were pleased to hear the star was on the mend.
“Fabulous sweetie, wish you a speedy recovery,” one person posted.
“Relieved to hear you’re ok,” said another. “Was a bit concerned for a minute there. Take care.”
Another told the actress that she was looking “beautiful”, adding: “Keep smiling gorgeous lady.”
One fan urged Danniella to “take care” while one tweeted: “Onwards & Upwards Danniella.”
