Dick and Dom cringe as they speak to psychic artist on Celebrity Ghost Trip

Dick and Dom were left cringing during an awkward chat with a psychic on Celebrity Ghost Trip.

The iconic duo are famed for fronting their children’s TV show Dick and Dom in Da Bungalow, but they made an epic return to our screens on the Channel 4 ghost hunting show.

However, the former children’s TV hosts got off to a rocky start during the first episode of the spooky celeb series, which aired on Sunday night (24 October).

Dick and Dom joined the likes of Kerry Katona and her daughter Lilly McFadden, Chloe Veitch and Nicole O’Brien, David Potts and Callum Izzard, and Graft and Sian Gabbidon.

The iconic duo were shown a drawing of a man called David by the psychic, but they were trying not to laugh

On the first stop of their coach trip saw Richard McCourt and Dominic Wood, who are also known as Dick and Dom, meet with a psychic artist during a drawing activity that quickly took a turn.

The psychic sketcher, named Pauline, decided to pick Dick and Dom first out of the group, claiming that she had found a man connected to the pair.

Pointing to Dick, she said: “Can I speak with you? Because I just feel this man is with you.”

The presenters didn’t have a clue who the spirit, called David, was

She went on to explain that she could see a man called Dave dressed in a top hat, as well as determining that he must be a musical spirit or one that dances.

In the following clip, Richard said: “This is a bit random. She’s talking about someone that tap dances. I don’t know anyone that tap dances.”

Dick looked close to bursting out in fits of laughter as the psychic carried on with her vision, claiming that the man smelled of tobacco, wore slippers, and was sitting beside a fire.

Kerry later said of Dick: “I thought Dick was gonna burst out laughing.”

Her daughter Lilly said: “He was having none of it. Absolutely none of it”

Lilly then added: “I feel like they were determined to not want to believe it.”

Dom asked: “A man in a top hat, in his slippers by the fire. Called Dave. Who is it?”

Richard replied: “I don’t know. I really don’t know who that was.”

Dick and Dom shot to fame as the presenters of their children’s show, Dick and Dom in Da Bungalow

Fans were overjoyed to see Dick and Dom back on their TV screens, with many rushing to Twitter to celebrate their return.

One fan wrote: “Dick and Dom in da Coach!”

A second fan said: “DICK AND DOM ON COACH TRIP IM SCREAMING.”

A third happy viewer wrote: “Just wanted to say I’m watching #celebrityghosttrip solely for Dick and Dom. That’s it. That’s the tweet.”

A fourth added: “10-year-old me is definitely fangirling over@dickndom right now.”
