Die Hard star Bruce Willis asked to leave pharmacy for 'not wearing mask'

Bruce Willis was reportedly asked to leave a store after not wearing a face mask.

The Die Hard actor wasn’t wearing a mask at a Los Angeles Rite Aid on Monday, Page Six reports.

The 65-year-old had a bandanna tied around his neck which he didn’t pull up to cover his mouth and nose, it’s claimed.

Reports say people inside the store became upset he wasn’t wearing a mask.

It’s believed he left the pharmacy without making a purchase on Sunday.

The American actor and producer was spotted in LA, where Covid cases have surged in recent weeks over two million and surpassed 10,000 deaths related to the virus.

He told People that it was “an error in judgement”.

And added: “Be safe out there everyone and let’s continue to mask up.”

He was snapped leaving the shop wearing a black jacket, striped T-shirt, jeans and bandanna around his neck.

Willis, known for his roles in The Sixth Sense and Pulp Fiction, has spent most of the pandemic quarantining with ex-wife Demi Moore and their grown children, Scout, Rumer and Tallulah.

Speculation rumours surfaced last year that Willis’ current marriage to wife Emma Heming was on the rocks given her choice to stay in LA with their young children, Mabel and Evelyn, but Scout later cleared the air on the rumours.

She said one of her stepsisters stepped on a needle in a park and needed to wait for test results.

She said at the time: “My stepmom had to be in LA waiting to get the results from taking her to the doctor,” Scout said. “So, my dad came up here and then travel got crazy so my stepmom stayed in LA with my little sisters.”

Eventually, the two families reunited under one roof.

The Moore-Wills clan has been “one happy family” since they began social distancing together during the pandemic, a source told People.

A representative for Bruce Willis has been approached for comment.
