Eamonn Holmes, 61, and Ruth Langsford, 61, who present ITV magazine show This Morning during the school holidays, were up to give their views on the week’s biggest shows on Friday’s Celebrity Gogglebox.
However, at one point Eamonn became distracted by his wife as she took precautions to protect herself from the scorching temperatures.
“You’re distracting me,” Eamonn said to Ruth, as she waved a portable fan up to her face.
“Ah, so hot,” Ruth declared, as she put the device onto another setting to combat the heat: “What about that one?”
“Anyway, I’m all you need,” Eamonn reminded her with Ruth questioning: “What to cool me down?”
“Yeah,” Eamonn added. “Because, I’m your fan… I’m your fan!”
“You’re so funny,” Ruth told her partner as she laughed at the joke.
However as the presenter continued to fan herself down, Eamonn had to step in as his other half waved the fan down her top.
“That’s enough now, that’s almost pornographic,” Eamonn warned as Ruth insisted she was “too hot”.
It comes as Eamonn also used the show to make a cheeky swipe at rival show BBC Breakfast.
The This Morning star expressed confusion over why the breakfast show’s TV presenters began the show.

“Why can’t you say your own name? I’m Charlie Stayt and I’m Naga Manchetty.
“She can speak for herself and why have you got to say that?”
The pair were one of a number of duos to feature on Celebrity Gogglebox on Friday night.
Other much-loved stars to return to their sofas to give their verdicts on the latest shows included Iain Stirling and Laura Whitmore.
The Masked Singer host Joel Dommett and his model wife Hannah, and BBC Radio 2’s Zoe Ball and her son Woody were also among those to keep viewers entertained.
Eamonn and Ruth will soon be back on This Morning over the summer holidays for seven weeks as the show’s other stars take time away for the break.
They were replaced in January by Dermot O’Leary and Alison Hammond after 14 years presenting on Friday mornings.
