Eamonn Holmes has shared a sweet message to his fans on social media to help boost their spirits.
The ITV legend of This Morning, 61, shared a short video clip to Twitter which was aimed to be a helping hand to any of his followers who were feeling down – hoping that they can “create their own sunshine”.
In the video posted on Monday (21 June), Eamonn began by greeting his followers on the rainy Monday, saying: “I just wanted to pop on and say it is Monday, it is raining, and it’s a miserable day.”
He told his followers that a familiar face in the TV world had shared her misery at the bleak weather conditions at the start of the week and felt “awful”, so he felt he should create a video to offer up some positivity.

He continued: “I wasn’t in the best of moods when I woke up this morning, but do you know what? Dust yourself down, take a deep breath, get into something.
Sending some inspirational words to try and motivate those fans feelings down, he said: “Get up, turn up, show up. Have a nice day for the rest of the day whatever you’re doing.”
He ended by saying: “I just hope you feel better about it; that’s the main thing. From me to you, I hope your Monday goes well.”
Eamonn’s caring video clearly had a positive impact, because his friends and followers flocked to share their appreciation for the presenter taking time out to offer his support.
Taking to Twitter, one follower wrote: “Thanks Eamonn. That helped. I’m caring for my stroke ravaged husband and today sucked in so many ways. I know you won’t probably read this but it doesn’t matter. I’ll keep plodding on.”
And to the fan’s surprise, the TV star actually had been reading and thoughtfully replied: “I’m reading, Linda x”

A second Twitter user commented: “Incredible words @EamonnHolmes. There is nothing more important than everyone knowing there is always someone willing to talk to them and listen if they need it.
“There is nothing more difficult than dealing with something alone. We all have our own ways of dealing with things.”
A third agreed and commented: “You’ve cheered me up. A thoughtful, random, kind message like this has just brought a smile to my miserable face. Thank you Eamonn, it’s worked a treat.”
This comes shortly after Eamonn suffered a rather awkward blunder earlier this week when he mistakenly offered his sympathies to model Daily Lowe – after thinking her dad had passed away.

After misreading Daisy’s Father’s Day post, Eamonn innocently thought to offer his condolences and told Daisy he had “no idea” her father – musician Gavin Rossdale – had passed away.
The 32-year-old model had penned a sweet message to Gavin, who is famous for playing in the band Bush, wishing she could visit him.
However, Eamonn clearly got the wrong end of the stick as her father Gavin was very much alive, and Daisy was simply talking about how the Covid pandemic meant she couldn’t jet off to visit him on a seperate continent.
Daisy politely cleared up Eamonn’s confusion by replying: “@eamonnholmes he’s just in la where I can’t visit!!! Thank you love xxx”
