East 17 member Joe Livermore had a secret role in the Harry Potter movies, his bandmate Terry Coldwell has revealed.

In an exclusive chat with Daily Star, Terry, known for being in the original line-up of the iconic 90s boyband revealed bandmate Joe made cameos in the wizarding franchise, playing the role of one of the movie’s favourite characters.

Today, the band consists of Joe, former Artful Dodger collaborator Robbie Craig and founding member Terry.

Passionate about sharing the successes and triumphs of current band member Joe, Terry revealed that his mate made a cameo in the third movie, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, where he played the role of Cedric Diggory – an iconic character in the blockbuster franchise.

In the franchise’s sequel, Hollywood heartthrob Robert Pattison played the character, who Harry Potter lovers know to be an iconic part of the movie’s storyline.

Terry said: “He had a big part in it and Robert Pattison, he took Joe’s part in the next one.”

According to his IMDB page, Joe was the stuntman for the character but was uncredited.

Talking enthusiastically about his current bandmates Robbie and Joe, Terry said: “Me, Robbie and Joe, we’re all on the same playing field, which is fantastic. Joe brings a different dynamic.”

With a very impressive CV, Terry celebrated Joe, and his many magical talents, which extend outside of being in the band, which is known for producing 90s bangers House of Love and It’s Alright.

Terry shared that Londoner Joe also featured in the blockbuster classics Green Mile and action-packed thriller Jason Bourne, supporting lead hunk Matt Damon.

The list does not stop there. Joe’s also dipped his toe in the dancing pool too – a professional breakdancer, the now East 17 member previously appeared in Sky’s Got To Dance presented by Davina McCall.

A former stuntman and ex England British squad gymnast – this man has done it all.

East 17 was initially made up of Terry Coldwell, Brian Harvey, Tony Mortimer and John Hendy and were known for their bad boy behaviour and dazzling charm.

The original group went their separate ways in 1997, with Terry confirming that the OGs do not speak.

Terry said that the band now is a lot healthier with its current members, Joe and Robbie.

He said: “When you’ve got the right energy it just works.”

The current trio is on tour for the next few months performing their hits across the country.
