EastEnders' Adam Woodyatt wows with hunky new look as fans say he looks 'decade younger'

Adam Woodyatt often leaves viewers speechless with his dramatic EastEnders storylines but his new look had fans collecting their jaws from the floor.

The actor, 53, has undergone a dramatic transformation since taking a break from his role on the BBC One soap and it has not gone unnoticed.

Adam is one of the show’s longest-serving cast members having appeared in the first episode that aired in 1985, alongside Jane Slaughter who plays barmaid Tracey.

However, he is currently on a ten-month break from the Walford based soap, touring the country as he embraces his love for the theatre again.

While on his break from the production, he appeared on ITV’s Lorraine today and viewers couldn’t get their heads around his new image with many flocking to Twitter.

One wrote: “@AdamWoodyatt Flippin heck you look amazing on Lorraine! At least 10 years younger and so healthy. Well done. And good luck with the play.”

Adam Woodyatt left viewers stunned with his transformation

“Oh my God for a moment there I fancied Ian Beale. Adam Woodyatt looking good these days. #lorraine,” said one.

Before a third penned: “Adam Woodyatt gets better looking with age #Lorraine.”

“@lorraine how fab does @AdamWoodyatt look well done Adam,” typed a fourth.

During his appearance on the programme, Adam hinted that his return to EastEnders would not be happening for some time as he is enjoying theatre productions.

The Walthamstow-born star is currently touring the nation with Emmerdale actress Gaynor Faye in the theatre production of Looking Good Dead.

Rather than staying in hotels with his castmates, Adam often travels in his motorhome, pitching up on campsites close to the theatre they are performing at.

However, Daily Star revealed earlier this year that he will be returning to the show next year.

A showbiz agent said: “The execs at the Beeb can’t get Adam back quick enough.

“The show has suffered without him and the viewers have noticed and are switching off.

“Adam seems to be having the time of his life touring the country appearing on stage.”

The father-of-two who split from his wife after 22 years in 2020, was last seen on screen as his character wandered away from Walford in a daze after Sharon tried to murder him.
