EastEnders' Balvinder Sopal looks worlds away from villain Suki in glam snap

EastEnders actress Balvinder Sopal, who plays villain Suki Panesar, has left her fans mesmerised after she posted a selfie looking very different to her on-screen character.

The star, who has been a part of the BBC soap since January 2020, has definitely made her mark on the Square with her villainous ways and cunning antics.

But taking to Instagram last week, the 41-year-old showed a softer side to her fans online.

Sharing a gorgeous selfie, Balvinder evidently glowed while wearing her makeup light and natural.

The actress styled her fringe into a large quiff as she allowed strands of her beautiful locks to tumble down her shoulders.

Balvinder looked radiant while she gave a coy smile to the camera.

Captioning the photo, she wrote: “Building the Beehive!! Happy Friday one and all.”

Several of Balvinder’s fans were excited by her stunning looks and took to the comment section to share their views.

One fan said: “Wow you are so so pretty as always.”

“Never mind the beehive, Balvinder it’s your mesmerising eyes that have me entranced,” another gushed.

While a third penned: “Amazing look.”

Others complimented the star on her acting in last week’s episodes of EastEnders.

Last week, Balvinder’s character Suki had quite a lot to deal with after her son Jags was murdered whilst serving time in prison.

Jags was sentenced to four years in prison when his mother Suki framed him for the robbery that took place at Ruby’s nightclub and the assault on Martin Fowler in October last year.

But the crime was actually committed by younger brother Vinny.

Recently Suki also lied to Jean Slater about a cancer diagnosis.

Not to mention the fact that the villain has continued to rattle the cages of a handful of Albert Square’s residents including Phil Mitchell and Ian Beale – whilst also romancing his son Peter.

Last year actor Amar Adatia, who played Jags in the BBC soap, spoke favourably about working with Balvinder and confessed that they are not far off in age in real life.

He said: “Bal is lovely! We get along really well. It’s funny cause there’s only seven years between us so I don’t look at her as a mother figure when we’re not on set, she’s a good friend.

“But as soon as we’re on screen she’s immediately the mum and matriarch of the family.”

EastEnders continues tonight at 7pm on BBC One
