EastEnders’ Gray Atkins is a seasoned killer – and now fans are certain he is targeting an unfortunate fourth victim.
The lawyer attended a 40th birthday drinks at the pub on Thursday evening and indulged a little too heavily in the free bar, getting blind drunk.
There, he confronted his boss Sarah Paul, played by Laura Awoyinka, who he accused of disliking him and refusing to promote him to partner at the firm.
After hours of boozing, he toppled over a table and fell to the floor, with Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams) dragging him out of the party, visibly embarrassed by his behaviour.
Watching from home, viewers were concerned Gray would target his boss Sarah next, recognising the evil glint in his eye as he looked at her.
One Twitter user wrote: “I think Gray’s boss is gonna b his next victim.”
“Boss lady going to be victim number 4,” added a second, and a third penned: “Gray’s boss is going to be the next victim…..”
“OMG has Gray already lined up victim number 4? His actual Boss Laura?” agreed a fourth.
It seems Sarah is aware of Gray’s murderous streak, as long after he fell asleep, she called over to his home to speak with Chelsea.
Sarah warned Chelsea about the barrister’s tendency to control his romantic partners, and she hinted at the mysterious circumstances surrounding his ex-wife Chantelle’s untimely death.
After years of domestic abuse, Gray murdered Chantelle in their home, smashing her head against their dishwasher and leaving her for dead.
Issuing a chilling warning, Sarah said: “You should be looking closer to home. You’re not the first and you certainly won’t be the last.”
She added: “He’s a white saviour, my darling. Looking for poor little girls he can break down and remodel in his own image.”
As Chelsea’s face dropped, Sarah advised her to leave Gray, admitting she was sick of witnessing him “get away” with his abusive relationships.
“If you know what’s good for you you’ll run, as soon and as far as you can,” Sarah finished, before leaving Chelsea in the dark of the house.
Has Sarah’s advice helped Chelsea to see Gray’s true colours?
