EastEnders' Simon Atmore's murder teased as Ben vows to get revenge for Paul

Eastenders murderer Simon Atmore finds himself in a dark alley with a mystery character in upcoming scenes.

Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) recently found out that Simon, one of the the men who murdered Paul Coker, has been released from prison.

The young man received a phone call from Pam Coker (Lin Blakely), who had some heartbreaking news to share, during Friday night’s visit to Albert Square.

She informed Ben that Simon appealed his conviction and has been released from prison.

Ben was naturally heartbroken to hear the devastating news and soon relayed the information to husband Callum Highway (Tony Clay).

The copper, who was evidently struggling to see his beau in such pain, offered his support, and attempted to calm him down.

Callum promised Ben that he will use his job as a police officer in order to get whatever information he can on the newly-released killer.

EastEnders spoilers have revealed that Callum manages to get Simon’s details next week.

However, he realises that Ben is in an agitated state so decides to keep the details to himself.

Back at home, Ben is rummaging through Callum’s things and finds the paper with the details.

As Callum comes home he realises that Ben has already made a plan to meet with Simon.

He pleads with Ben to rationalise, it’s clear Ben will to do anything to get revenge.

A desperate Callum tells Phil that he got the number of Paul’s killer, and he needs his help.

Not letting his pride get to him, Phil tells Callum to sort it out on his own.

Simon stares at the gym waiting for the probation officer and Simon immediately realises something is wrong, as he steps back into the alley.

Will Ben get his revenge or is there someone else out for Simon’s blood?

Simon was last scene in Walford in 2016 when he appeared in court alongside his co-defendants.

In emotional scenes, Pam and Les Coker prepared for their grandson Paul’s killers return to the dock to enter a plea.

Ben starred intensely at Simon and the three others who attacked him and killed Paul.

After a long delay of silence, he eventually pleaded guilty to both killing Paul and kidnapping Ben and Jay Brown.

Pam immediately broke down in relief, with Ben struggling to control his emotions as their hunt for justice came to an end.
