EastEnders star Kellie Bright says her new miracle baby Rudy will ‘100%’ be her last

EastEnders star Kellie Bright has said that she will not be having any more children after giving birth to her miracle baby this summer.

The 45-year-old actress and her husband Paul Stocker, 38, welcomed their baby boy, Rudy Joy Stocker, weighing 7lb 14oz on July 22.

The couple are already proud parents to sons Freddy, nine, and Gene, four.

Kellie was desperate for a third child to add to her family but struggled to pregnant.

After becoming pregnant naturally with her first child, she relied on IVF to conceive Gene and froze three extra embryos at the time for use further down the line.

Following failed attempts at pregnancy with two of them, her dreams came true when she conceived her “miracle” son Rudy.

Speaking to The Mirror about having three boys, Kellie said: “I very much have the philosophy that because of the way we’ve had our children – going through IVF and the frozen embryo transfer – they are really meant to be here.

“Rudy is no exception and if anything I feel it more so with him because of his journey to get here. He was the last remaining embryo and the one that made it. For whatever reason, I’m meant to bring up boys.”

She explained that she had known she wanted a third child because her family did not yet Geel complete, but that with the arrival of Rudy she was done.

“I know it’s not for everyone and there’s millions of women my age thinking, “God I wouldn’t want to go back to that.” But for me, I just never had that feeling of being done with having children. It’s a really special and unique thing,” she continued.

“I do feel very lucky I’ve got to experience it again. But now, 100%, I feel the family is complete.”

Kellie went on to say that she’d been in contact with her EastEnders co-stars and sent them pictures, saying after eight years they felt like “family”.

She added that she’d spoke to Danny Dyer and Maddy Hill and had texts from Linda Henry and Letitia Dean, and would be introducing them to Rudy “very soon”.
