Emmerdale fans swoon over Mackenzie as bad lad unveils secret singing talent

Emmerdale fans were left swooning over Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) during Tuesday night’s episode, as he revealed his secret singing talent.

The bad lad was seen dancing around in an extravagant coat that used to belong to Val Pollard, singing the Amy Winehouse song Valerie – first performed by The Zutons.

It wasn’t long before Ryan Stocks (James Moore) walked in on him, however it was enough for fans to fall for his singing talents.

They flocked to Twitter to share their thoughts, and it seems it cemented the bad lad as their Soapland crush once and for all.

One said: “Mack performing to Valerie has just made me fancy him even more if that’s even f***ing possible.”

Another tweeted: “Mack singing Valerie I love it.”

A third wrote: “Well hello Mack,” adding a heart-eye emoji.

Someone else asked a friend: “Still fancy Mack after his singing?”

While another said: “Mackenzie’s actually got a good voice.”

And a sixth added: “Please can we have more Mackenzie singing scenes? He’s got a decent set of pipes on him.”

Mack stopped his little performance as soon as Ryan disturbed him though, and the conversation quickly turned to Aaron Dingle’s (Danny Miller) legal issues.

Viewers, and select villagers, know that Mack is the one who stole the brooch from Eric’s, and Aaron was just the one who was caught putting it back.

But in scenes to come, Mack’s sister Moira (Natalie J Robb) and Aaron force him to tell the truth – to her at least.

At the time, Pollard (Chris Chittell) is in hospital, as he had an angina attack during an argument with Mack.

Mack proved he wasn’t all bad and phoned an ambulance, however he did think about leaving him for dead.

Knowing Pollard is in hospital, Moira is fuming and reminds her brother that he said he was going to turn over a new leaf.

But could the incident push Pollard into saying something when he wakes up that could see Mack or Aaron sent down?

Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7pm, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays, on ITV
