Emmerdale star Jurell Carter first appeared on the ITV soap as fan favourite Nate Robinson back in April 2019.
Over the past two years, Nate has caught the eye of plenty of female admirers on the dales.
He has shared a kiss with Rhona, before moving on to Amy Wyatt and Tracy Metcalfe – with who he now shares a child.
But how can we forget when Nate’s true identity was revealed on the soap and when the village discovered he was Cain’s secret love child.
This led to the explosive storyline of the farmer having an affair with Moira Dingle, his dad’s current partner – which of course was found out by Cain.
The actor has faced plenty of drama on-screen as well as off.
Daily Star has taken a look into the soap star’s life off-screen.
Sex tape rumours
Earlier this year, Jurell was forced to deny sharing an explicit video of himself on his Instagram.
In the video, the Emmerdale actor could be seen with his top off and his upper torso visible.
During the short clip, Jurell could be seen looking straight into the camera while he moved up and down.
He wrote over the video: “Physically I’m sweating on a dull day in Yorkshire mentally I’m in Jamaica on the beach sippin couple cocktails… we move”.
Jurell was then inundated with messages from fans asking what he was doing in the clip, leading them to believe it was a sex tape.
However, the young actor soon had to squash any rumours and give an explanation.
He posted several laughing emojis and replied: “Let a man live. I was on my spin bike.”
Since then, he has deleted the two posts from his Instagram page, but fans have taken screenshots of the clips and shared them across social media.
Conspiracy theory
The Emmerdale actor also caused a stir when he shared a conspiracy theory link to his social media page.
The theory included claims about which celebrities are into satanism, child sacrifice and blood drinking and was shared with 13,000 followers on his Instagram Story.
Jurell also hit out at the Covid-19 vaccination programme where he claimed that the jab was an experiment.
Meanwhile, in other posts from the actor, he seemed to condemn that the world is run by secret societies.
He also said that the elections having no initial impact overall.
It comes as Emmerdale was the first soap in the UK to have the main character get the Covid-19 jab.
It had seen long-running character Eric Pollard, played by Chris Chittell, 72, tell his family that he has had the first dose of the vaccination in an episode of the ITV soap.
However, the actor has had strong opinions over the vaccine rollout.
Taking to his Instagram, he wrote: “If you wanna take this experimental vaccine, go ahead but don’t start pushing people to take it or start promoting it.
“I’m even seeing others demonising others for not wanting it.”
He added: “Your body, your decision, my body, my decision. The blind leading the blind. And I’m not here for it.”
Jurell’s posts were contradictory as shared a picture that insinuated that he didn’t have his freedom.
The post said: “Sometimes your freedom is not taken away at gunpoint but instead it is done one piece of paper at a time, one seemingness rule at a time, one small silencing at a time.”
Learning new skill
During an explosive episode of Emmerdale when Cain found about the affair between Nate and Moira and was told by Pete Barton played by Anthony Quinlan.
There was a boat scene that required Jurell to learn how to swim.
In an interview with ITV chat show Lorraine, the soap actor revealed he had to learn a new skill to prepare for the scene.
Jurell appeared alongside his co-star Moira, played by Natalie. J.Robb, where they have been having an affair for months behind Nate’s dad Cain’s back.
In the scene, it saw Moira’s partner come to blows with Nate and Moira on a boat where the three of them were left in danger.
Jurell spoke to presenter Christine Lampard about the scene and how he had to learn the new skill.
The actor said: “Before the story, I couldn’t swim.
“It was a massive swimming stunt and a massive panic but I think it was the nudge I needed.
“I had swimming lessons with Dominic and now I can swim.
“I loved every second of it. It’s amazing being a part of a soap I’ve watched growing up.”

Many athletes use the treatment to help treat a particular part of their body and recover.
However, it seems like the actor opted for the treatment which helped him prepare for the Emmerdale storyline of the return of his on-screen mum, Cara.
