Emmerdale actor Danny Miller, who plays Aaron Dingle, has recently introduced his newborn son with fiancée Steph Jones, just weeks before he is due to take part in I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!
Speaking to OK!, Danny spoke of the ‘happiness’ their new addition has brought to the happy couple’s lives and that they knew they were ‘destined to become parents.’
He said: “It’s been amazing. We’ve had a real whirlwind of emotions. Getting him home was the biggest realisation that it’s just the three of you.
“When you’re in hospital you have the support, then when you get home it’s just you two and the baby, so it’s about working out a new way of living and adjusting to everything.”
Danny and Steph named him after one of her beloved family members: “I’ve loved the name from when I was a kid. Steph’s granddad was called Albert but when we were in school I just knew him as Steph’s granddad, so when I suggested it, I didn’t know it was her granddad’s name.”
Steph added: “Danny said to me, “I’ve got a name that I really love but I’m not sure what you’ll think about it,” and then when he said “Albert”, I said it must be a sign as that was my granddad’s name. My mum was really pleased as it was her dad. It was really emotional for her.”
Their bundle of joy is extra special as Steph, who has polycystic ovary syndrome, had been trying to conceive naturally for a year.
Danny and Steph met in school and after Danny proposed in January the couple were about to begin IVF when she discovered she was pregnant.
Meanwhile, Danny has been rumoured to be joining the 2021 line-up for I’m A Celebrity, along with other soap stars such as Corrie’s Simon Gregson and EastEnders’ Adam Woodyatt.
Danny is sure to be an explosive addition to Gwrych Castle after getting caught in a number of fiery Twitter spats over the years.
He also previously quit Twitter in a rage at trolls for attacking his girlfriend in social media posts.
