In the past Faye Brookes has certainly caused temperatures soar as character Kate Connor on Coronation Street.
The 33-year-old first landed on the Cobbles back in 2015 and it’s safe to say she’s found herself in numerous steamy situations that have sent Twitter into a wild frenzy over the years.
Starring alongside her on-screen family members HearSay’s Kym Marsh and X Factor’s Shane Ward, she found herself in all kinds of mischief on the ITV soap.
The brunette bombshell managed to entwine herself in numerous heart pumping affairs during her four-year period on the programme before her departure in September 2019.
One particular scene saw Faye begin to ditch her clothes as things got racy in the back of van, leading to fans branding the episode as the “sexiest ever moment in history”.

Faye, who is better known as her on-screen character Kate Connor, sent Twitter into meltdown as things got steamy with her co-star Bhavna Limbachia, who played Rana Nazir.
The pair couldn’t keep their hands off of each other as they began to drastically shed their clothes to fulfil their lust for one another.
Just as viewers were beginning to get a tad hot under the collar the characters were caught in the act by Luke Britton.
Luke had interrupted the moment of passion, catching the pair snogging while in their bras.
As soon as the affair bubbled over, after months of drunken smooches, fans could barely contain their excitement as they took to social media.
One online user wrote: “Best moment in soap history.”
“Kana in the van was the sexiest thing I’ve ever seen,” added another, referencing their characters’ couple name.

In 2018, Faye spiced things up even more after Zeedan, Rana’s ex, had given them his approval to continue their romance providing it wasn’t public knowledge.
Zeedan’s sister Alya and many others on the cobbles were unaware of what was taking place behind closed doors between lovers Kate Connor and Rana Nazir.
The couple had been trying to keep their passion under wraps but were rumbled for a second time as the pair were caught naked in the act.
With every stitch of clothing removed, the pair began to get intimate before Rana’s parents stormed in on the moment of passion.
The sex scene sent Twitter ablaze with lots of fans enjoying the saucy action.
One tweet read: “Corrie is a bit racy tonight; lots of people getting caught up to no good in a saucy way and an innuendo-laden conversation over dinner.”
Another joked: “Oh my it’s getting rather steamy on Corrie. Good job I don’t wear glasses, be like having steamy windows.”

Coronation Street’s creators caused controversy after Faye’s gay character cheated on her fiancé Rana with Adam Barlow.
The storyline caused such a stir that soap bosses were branded as “homophobic” along with 68 viewers filing complaints to Ofcom to adjudicate the situation.
In the questionable scene, Kate was clearly upset after her fiancé Rana came clean that she didn’t want to have a baby.
Not wanting to give up on her goal of getting pregnant, Kate came up with the cunning plan to seduce Adam.
The raunchy moment saw the pair snogging with Kate moving her hands to unbutton Adam’s trousers before he abruptly put an end to their tryst.
Although the racy scene caused much anger among the LGBT community, the regulating body ruled against claims.
The watchdog told Digital Spy at the time: “The episode focused on two characters wanting different things from their relationship but, in our view, didn’t refer to their sexual orientation in a derogatory manner.”

In 2016, Faye’s first ever love triangle scandal came to light when she was again caught in the heat of the moment, this time though she was the cheater, held under the spotlight as she confessed her true feelings for Sophie Webster – played by Brooke Vincent.
At the time, Kate had been preparing to marry her girlfriend Caz but without warning told her cousin Michelle Connor, that the hen party had been called off.
As Michelle shared the news with barmaid Liz McDonald, Sophie managed to overhear the conversation and rushed over to see Kate immediately.
With passion burning between Kate and Sophie they put their worries aside and began to kiss before suspicious Caz waltzed in, unravelling the betrayal.
