Gemma Collins is reputedly eyeing up a new documentary with the BBC where she will open up about her fertility treatment.
The 40-year-old reality star has been extremely candid about her desire to become a mother for yers and has expressed previously how she’s willing to try anything to have a child.
Now it’s been reported that the former TOWIE star is “in talks” with BBC bosses about making a documentary with them on her journey to motherhood.
Lifting the lid to The Sun, a TV insider said: “Gemma is on a mission to become a mum and she wants her followers along for the ride.
“She’s working on a documentary which will follow her as she confronts her own fertility and chances of becoming a mother,”
Gemma was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome a number of years ago and has been very honest about her condition and the issues it causes with women trying to conceive.
She reportedly wants to document her experiences in order to help other woman who are in the same situation as her.
The source added: “She wanted her fans to see her journey in case what she discovered would help someone watching.
“All the major channels have been in touch. The BBC is the frontrunner at the moment and they are eager to get Gemma on board.”
Daily Star has reached out to Gemma’s representatives for comment.
Gemma has previously revealed that she has suffered three miscarriages so far in her life.
But the star is not willing to give up on having a child,
She is currently in a relationship with Rami Hawash, a former fiancé of hers and previously said she’s the happiest she’s ever been.
Earlier this year, Gemma told her fans: “My main focus this year will be to really be comfortable being Gemma Collins.
“And definitely committing and giving quality time to a relationship — and hopefully I am going to have a baby.”
