Geordie Shore's Holly slams cruel troll for saying she had bum like melted tyre

Geordie Shore’s Holly Hagan has slammed a cruel mother for the nasty comments about her body she has been aiming at the star.

Holly, 28, received the hateful comments after opening up about gaining the confidence to show of her fabulous body, cellulite and all.

Despite her positivity, she got hateful comments from trolls – including a mother.

The MTV star had posted a stunning picture of herself with a patterned bikini bottom and black bikini top earlier this week as she enjoyed the sun.

She captioned the original post: “Cellulite ain’t going anywhere so I might as well embrace it.

“If there’s one good thing that came from my time away it was gaining the confidence to walk around in public without covering my legs.

“Wearing shorts and skirts for the first time and being able to enjoy the sun without worrying.

“This trend of people being more “real” on Instagram has helped me so much and I’m not going to hide anymore.”

Unfortunately the trolls were not as considerate following the post of her gaining her confidence as they spat out shocking comments.

The cruel comments compared Holly’s pert bum to a “melted tire (sic)” and urged her to join a gym and cover up more.

Holly reshared a snap in her bikini with the comments on the image, as she addressed trolling to her followers.

She wrote: “Let’s talk about trolling..

“Fortunately I don’t get these comments often anymore.

“Comments like these were the reason I tried to change my body in the first place.

“In the beginning 90% of the comments were like this. Before the word ‘troll’ existed. This was just people “having their opinion”.

“In the past I would have said, ‘I have no idea why someone would post a comment like that’.. but the fact is I do know.

“They’re hurting. They’re projecting whatever they feel about themselves onto someone else. So that for one second they can be distracted from their own misery. It was never about me.”

Holly looked at the account behind the cruel taunts and discovered it came from a mother to a young girl.

She continued on her post, penning: “This is a grown woman with her own daughter and I hope No1 ever speaks to her child in the same manner.

“It saddens me because she’s going to be raising a little girl to do what she does. Children aren’t born with hate in their heart. They copy their parents, they do what they see their parents do.

“If mummy comments on other woman’s appearances in a negative manner then why can’t she?”

Holly then told her followers to not take trolling personally, as those who post cruel comments online tend to have their own issues.

She wrote: “Upon looking at her account I can only find the odd group picture all of which have a Snapchat filter. I’m no therapist so I won’t try to diagnose her but in my experience and what I’ve learnt from trolling is that this is probably a person who dislikes themselves.

“I’ve NEVER come across a happy, confident, successful internet troll.

“They just do not exist.

“Because happy, confident, successful people do not feel the need to bring others down.

“Rather than let it get to me or make me sad I’m just pleased I can use this as an opportunity to educate.

“You may get a million positive comments but it only takes ONE to make you question yourself.

“Am I good enough?

“I’m at a point in my life now where I know I am good enough. I know what I have to offer and that extends way past my physical appearance.

“But there are people out there who are struggling, who are getting comments like this daily and doubting their worth. Just know that you are enough. And the only reason anyone would ever want to bring you down is because you are already above them in every way.

“Please remember that it’s never about you.”
