The reunion announcement comes after the former Gladiators presenter Ulrika Jonsson revealed there was a lot of ‘bed-hopping’ backstage of the 90s programme.
Ulrika told The Sun: “That first year in the Hyatt Regency hotel, which we more or less took over, there was a lot of bed-hopping, as there would be with a bunch of young, virile men and women with insane bodies.
“Apparently, there were quite a few multiples of people enjoying a bit of rough and tumble under the covers, while I was up in my room writing the script and furiously trying to learn my lines.
“The hotel struggled, but eventually learned to cope with their obsessive nocturnal and nutritional demands.”
Jet whose real name Diana Youdale also mentioned the original Gladiators are in talks for a 30th anniversary reunion show.
She confirmed to the Celebrity Catch Up podcast that ‘there will be’ a reunion episode.
Jet said: “We don’t know yet, none of us do. I’m hoping ITV does something to celebrate our 30th.
“It will be like reaching one of your big zero birthdays and turning up and no one’s remembered.
“It would be nice, hint hint ITV – there’s been talk.”
Diane thinks there will be people that will make something happen even if ITV aren’t planning to produce anything.
“Between these two producers, I’m pretty sure if ITV doesn’t do anything then we’ll cuff something up together,” she added.
