Gladiators' Cobra slams Ulrika Jonsson's orgy claims saying they were too tired to bonk

Gladiators star Michael Willson, best known as Cobra, has called out the show’s presenter for perpetuating false rumours about the other cast members’ bedroom antics.

Michael said that despite the rumours of the Gladiators frequently “bed-hopping” – he never saw any of it.

When chatting on the Daily Star Facebook Live chat show Carly in Convo, he began by saying: “Fantastic. Shall we start with an easy subject? Ulrika and orgies.”

And then jokingly added: “I am absolutely disgusted. I really am, because I wasn’t invited to any. None, what’s wrong with me? I was married and stuff, but at least an invite would have been nice.”

Moving on towards Ulrika’s claims that the stars were up all night and it with one another, he said tongue-in-cheek: “She must have something incredible ears because she was a few floors above.

“So, I don’t know if she’s getting some of us orgies mixed up with the local Catholic priests and choir convention that you see there every year. I don’t know what that was.

“She was two or three floors up, the whole building is massive. I was there for eight years and I missed all of that.”

Ulrika, who presented the hit show back in the 1990s, suggested one female cast member boasted of having sex with four people in one night.

The TV host made the saucy revelations to Geordie Shore’s Vicky Pattison while chatting on an episode of her podcast The Secret To.

“In the first year, there was loads of jumping from bed to bed”

“One female gladiator said: ‘You were f***ing five people! People were coming and going in your room last night’, and she replied: ‘No, only four’.”

Despite Ulrika claiming it was a free-for-all, Michael said he never witnessed any action and also was ever disturbed by the room next door to his.

Michael continued: “Well, I did complain one night because of all the screaming and banging and going on in the room next to me, I’d go there and then put a stop to that.

“It was John Anderson, the referee, playing poker all night. Banging and loads of noise. I thought ‘what’s going on here? I can’t sleep’ and it was john Anderson playing poker. It was all rock and roll really.”

Explaining why there was never any naughty bedroom action, Michael explained just how tired the team were after coming back from a hectic day of filming.

He continued: “By the time we got back from the arena site, it was 12 o’clock at night. And we’re knackered I was anyway, I don’t know about the younger ones.”
