Trying to withhold his laughter, her said: “With entertainment experts using the tried and tested formula to help birds find the one on the new show Dove Island.”

Richard explained that some species had become “lonely in lockdown” so ITV bosses were hoping to help birds in the same way as humans

He went on: “It apparently comes after a year of lockdown which has seen the species become so lonely that tele bosses are now hoping that they can help birds of a feather flock together once again.

“With the show taking place in the Canary Islands, though Turkey was also considered I’m told.”
