GMB fans predict 'Ofcom stampede' as Ranvir corrects Harry Enfield's expletive

Good Morning Britain fans were either left in hysterics or feeling less than impressed during the segment with Harry Enfield on Monday’s show.

A few eyebrows were first raised when the 60-year-old seemingly got away with saying the word “sh*g”.

Later on, he made a similar mistake again, adding: “Taking the p***” which saw host Ranvir Singh interject “micky”.

Fans took to Twitter in their masses to call out the interview – with many predicting Ofcom would be “off the chain” with complaints.

“‘S***ging’ and ‘P***’ before 9am!! Karens everywhere googling Ofcom phone number. Love Harry.#GMB,” added one person.

A second chimed: “Reports to Ofcom are going to be off the chain following Harry Enfield on #GMB aren’t they?”

“Sh*g & Pi** before 9am #GMB,” explained a third.

While fourth penned: “#gmb Harry Enfield oh dear#Cringeworthy.”

Meanwhile, Richard seems to have been a hit with GMB viewers who took to Twitter to chime their praises.
One person even hailed the former Big Breakfast host better than Piers Morgan.

One tweet read: “Richard Bacon please stay.

“Watched him last week too and he’s the best presenter since Piers…#GMB.”

Another wrote: “Richard Bacon is weirdly quite good as a presenter #GMB. Never thought I’d say that.”

Richard joins many stand in presenters to have taken over from the Life Stories star since his departure from the breakfast programme.

Those who have joined the panel recently include Richard Madeley, Alastair Campbell and money saving expert, Martin Lewis.

Speaking about his debut on the ITV favourite, Richard Bacon said: “Not only am I coming home to London to guest present Good Morning Britain this month, but being back on British breakfast broadcasting feels like coming home also.

“I can’t wait to see the team again and am very much looking forward to my time on the show with Kate, Ranvir and Charlotte.”

This is a live TV story and is constantly being updated.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV.
