Good Morning Britain presenters Charlotte Hawkins and Ben Shephard are great mates in the studio, meaning they have no hesitation when it comes to calling out mistakes.
When Charlotte appeared to pronounce the word “accuracy” strangely while reading from the autocue, Ben immediately interjected, poking fun at her.
However, Charlotte was quick to shut him down, ordering the dad-of-two to “shush” before they carried on to the next segment.
It all kicked off ahead of a panel discussion, addressing the new university policy which advises against marking students down for bad spelling.
“This new policy is a far cry from the popular tradition of spelling bees where students are praised for their precision and accuracy like in this international competition…” she said, before Ben cut her off.
“Praised for their what?” he asked Charlotte, noticing she’d stumbled over the word “accuracy”.
Charlotte appeared to get a little red-faced, as she replied: “I don’t know…”
“I think it was supposed to be accuracy?” Ben suggested, a teasing smile on his face.
As Ben erupted into laughter, Charlotte scolded him, adding: “Oh shush, don’t make a fuss. Nobody noticed!”
Elsewhere on the show, the pair discussed the importance of spelling, with Ben arguing it wasn’t as important as people made out.
Ben explained one of his two teenage sons struggles with his spelling, which often compromises his ability to use his imagination in his work.
Celebrating 17 years of marriage with his wife Annie this year, the sweethearts are parents to Sam, 14, and Jack, 16.
Describing one of his son’s struggles with grammar, he said: “It often detracts from the work he’s trying to do – it’s less creative, less explorative.”

Charlotte, who has a degree in English, understood where Ben was coming from, as she nodded her head in agreement.
Ben then suggested it was pointless to make a fuss over the use of a comma, adding: “I’ve got friends that would be very angry at me saying that as well.”
Good Morning Britain airs on weekdays at 6am on ITV.
