GMB's Kate Garraway shares disbelief as Laura Tobin opts for skirt on a rollercoaster

Good Morning Britain’s Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway were shocked at Laura Tobin’s decision to wear a skirt as she went on a ride around Thorpe Park.

Laura was screaming that she loved her job as she was able to go along on the rollercoaster, screaming as she was filmed flying along on the ride.

She had opted for a blue dress and a pair of trainers as she had her hair down and was donning the ultimate windswept look.

As Kate watched Laura riding the rollercoaster on the screen, she was visibly cringing as she said: “Oh my God!”

Meanwhile, a very smiley Laura said: “This is amazing guys! This is fantastic. Okay everybody!”, she then started screaming and laughing as she turned upside down on the ride.

As she started to turn she noticed her skirt go up and immediately held it back down firmly, which prompted laughter back at the ITV studios.

Laura can be heard shouting: “Oh my God I should have worn leggings!”

Kate turned to Ben and added: “Do you think she thought through the skirt?”, as Ben immediately responded: “No, it looks quite uncomfortable.”

The pair seemed worried about Laura who was still screaming as Kate added: “I can’t work out if those are genuine giggles or hysteria!”

However it looks like Laura was certainly happy about her morning as she said: “Guys thank you this is brilliant. This is my actual job. It is the best job in the world.

“The other good news is, there is sunshine on the way.”

Ben and Kate were not the only ones who were left in hysterics as fans of the show were in pure shock about her theme park debut.

One user wrote: “Laura protecting her virtue [laughing face emoji].”

Meanwhile another person said: “Laura Tobin was the best today, too funny watching her on the rollercoaster!”

It certainly wasn’t the morning that Laura is normally used to, but it seems she had a great time as she sat on the rollercoaster and had a private showing at 7am.

It’s a far cry from her usual spot of standing still to reveal the weather – but it was certainly enjoyed by all, most of all Laura.

GMB returns Monday at 6am on ITV.
