Harry Potter actress Scarlett Byrne is expecting twins with Hugh Hefner’s youngest son, Cooper Hefner.
The star, best known for playing Slytherin student Pansy Parkinson in the last three flicks, already shares a 15-month-old daughter, Betsy Rose, with Cooper.
The couple confirmed the news of their latest arrivals to People, with Cooper explaining: “Both Scarlett and I could not be happier to continue the adventure of parenting together.”
Later, he posted the news on his Instagram account along with a sweet picture of the family together, with Scarlett cradling her baby bump in a wraparound cream dress, Betsy Rose at her hip.
Cooper stood behind them wearing a navy cardigan and blue jeans, in front of their swanky home.
He wrote: “Scarlett and I will be welcoming two new members of the family this spring. We couldn’t be happier as we wait on the arrival of our twins. A very Happy Thanksgiving to all!”
Scarlett added: “Thankful for our growing family. Cooper and I are very excited to share that we will be welcoming twins at the beginning of 2022. Wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving.”
Congratulations have already started flooding in for the couple, with one fan commenting on Instagram: “Holy! Mama! Sending you ALL the love.”
“OMG congratulations!” someone else gushed.
As a third fan penned: “Couldn’t love this more!”, and another social media user echoed: “Best news! Huge congrats! Those are lucky babies!!”
Scarlett regularly shares photos of her family on the account, documenting her daughter’s early years as she grows into a toddler.
The pair welcomed their daughter Betsy Rose in August 2020 in their home city of Los Angeles.
She is named after Cooper’s – a US Airman – maternal grandmother Betsy Aldridge-Conrad, who sadly died in July 2020.
Cooper said she had “meant the world” to both him and Scarlett, who he married back in 2019.
30-year-old Cooper, meanwhile, is the youngest of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner’s four children, who he shared with ex-wife Kimberley Conrad.
Hugh, who died aged 91 in 2017, was also father to Christie, 69, David, 66, and Marston, 31.
In October this year, Cooper completed a deployment with the US Air Force in New Jersey, helping families from Afghanistan to resettle after coming over to America.
