Hollyoaks fans have shared their concerns for Maxine Minniver after she was captured by Fergus Collins’ gang of crooks.
The brunette beauty was the latest victim of the ruthless businessman in the village, who has been leaking and selling intimate images of young girls online and attempting to traffic women overseas.
During Thursday’s first look episode on E4, fans got a peek inside the complex web of lies the property tycoon has concocted across the village, with the latest framing Warren Fox for his growing list of crimes.
While the supportive friend attempted to beat the information out of Fergus, he made a deal with him that found him in hot water in order to save poor Maxine.

Fans took to Twitter to share their concerns for Maxine’s safety throughout the episode as viewers followed Warren through an abandoned shipping dock where she lay.
One fan penned: “Hopefully Warren can get to Maxine before the buyer arrives. I’m on the edge of my seat!”
Another chimed in with: “Warren needs to do a Liam Neeson on the people who took Maxine.”
A third added: “Omg Warren needs to bring down Fergus. No women deserves to be sold. Poor Maxine.”

It turned out Maxine wasn’t the one who needed saving after all, as police arrived at the scene moments later ready to tend to the unconscious mum.
While viewers may have taken a huge sigh of relief, the game wasn’t over for Warren who was then arrested for the crimes of illegally obtaining and selling images of young women online as well as additional charges of attempted human trafficking.
With his poor track record with the law, it could mean that Warren will find himself on the wrong side of a prison cell once again.

It’s fair to say viewers were completely shocked with the sudden twist at the end of the episode as the corrupt businessman managed to avoid the strong arm of the force once again.
One user penned: “Poor Warren being framed hope furgus is found out and sent down he’s so disgusting.”
Another agreed: “I knew from that sly smile of Fergus he wouldn’t just tell Warren where Maxine was without some other ulterior motive. I mean, this is Fergus we’re talking about!”
A third noted: “Wasn’t expecting that, Warren ending up in a police car. Fergus what have you done. Hope Trish see’s him for the man he really is soon.”
Hollyoaks airs weekdays on Channel 4 at 6.30pm followed by first look episodes on E4 at 7pm
