Hollyoaks viewers were left concerned for John Paul McQueen’s (James Sutton) safety during Wednesday’s first-look episode on E4.
PC George Kiss (Callum Kerr) enjoyed seeing how much his latest mind games have affected his boyfriend in the latest instalment of the soap.
The corrupt copper rang John Paul’s mobile phone when he enjoyed a passionate fling with his ex Dean Vickers (Paul Sloss).
Heartbroken John Paul assumed that the policeman pocket-dialled him by mistake and doesn’t realise that it was a deliberate tactic.
George was unapologetic over his actions, insisting that he wasn’t cheating as he’d thought that he and John Paul were over after their argument.
Later, Dean was left devastated after George told him he isn’t really interested in him.
As it dawned on Dean that George used him to upset John Paul, he decided that it’s time to expose the police officer’s true colours.
Knowing that Courtney Campbell (Amy Conachan) is close friends with John Paul, Dean told her about George’s controlling behaviour.

Dean also predicted that John Paul was going to be George’s next victim.
Viewers were left heartbroken at the thought of John Paul being in danger at the hands of evil George.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “I feel bad for John Paul and Dean as well actually, he’s messing with both of their heads.”
A second person posted: “I am so happy Dean told Courtney. I hope she tells John Paul and he believes her.”

While a third person wrote: “John Paul is well and truly caught in George’s web now.”
A fourth viewer added: “George your days are numbered.”
“Courtney is onto George,” a fifth fan said.
Hollyoaks bosses recently started exploring George’s abusive behaviour as his relationship with John Paul has taken a dark turn.
Dean told Courtney during the latest episode: “A year ago I was happy and madly in love.
“Now I am a sleeping rough in a car park and I only have George to thank for that and your mate John Paul will be next.”
Will Courtney tell John Paul what she’s found out about George or will the horrible copper get to her first?
Hollyoaks airs weekdays on Channel 4 at 6.30pm followed by a first look episode on E4 at 7pm
