Love was in the air at Hollyoaks village on Monday evening as old feelings resurfaced for Cleo McQueen (Nadine Mulkerrin) and her ex Joel Dexter (Rory Douglas-Speed).
The former flames reunited with a passionate kiss during the latest first-look episode on E4.
Joel and Cleo split several years ago but they were thrown back into each others arms after finding themselves in difficult situations.
In recent scenes, Joel confronted his father Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) in the wake of the robbery at Price Slice, ordering him to turn himself in to the police.
At first, bad boy Warren agreed to Joel’s instruction but he later had a change of heart following a chat with dodgy Fergus Collins (Robert Beck).
In shocking scenes, Warren threatened Cloe’s life knowing how much Joel still cares for his former girlfriend.
Therefore, Joel backs down and agrees to keep his dad’s dark secret under wraps for longer.
Meanwhile, Cleo celebrated her birthday but the gift which boyfriend Toby Faroe (Bobby Gordon) gives her doesn’t feel her with joy.
She later encounters Joel, who met up with her under the rouse of wanting to wish her a happy birthday.
Cleo knew there that was more than meets the eye, and asked Joel wants going on.
Joel came clean to his ex and warned her about the threat on her life.
The chemistry between the former flames sized and one thing lead to another before they shared a kiss.
However, fans at home are now concerned that Joel’s put himself in danger by sharing an intimate moment with Cleo considering Toby has a dark side.

Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “Cleo and Joel could be a bad thing if Toby finds out.”
Another added: “Lets hope toby doesn’t find out otherwise he’s going to go psycho again!
A third person posted: “This is all going to end in tears and potentially a death if and when Toby finds out.”
Hollyoaks fans will remember that Toby killed his own cousin Lisa Loveday (Rachel Adedeji) last year.
He beat her to death with a fireplace poker, mistaking her for his brother Mitchell Deveraux.
As well committing murder, Toby has also attacked several villagers during his short stint.
Toby has viciously attacked his dad Felix Westwood with a pipe and also tampered with his medical equipment.
More recently, Toby attacked Pete Buchanan, who abused and groomed Cleo when she was under age.
How will Toby react when he finds out that Cleo kissed Joel behind his back?
Fans will have to wait and see if the steamy snog leads to reunion between the old lovers.
