Hollyoaks fans 'work out' identity of Peri and Juliet's stalker in dark family twist

Hollyoaks fans are convinced they know who is stalking Peri Lomax (Ruby O’Donnell).

Last month, an unknown assailant broke into Peri’s home, stole a prized possession from girlfriend Juliet Nighingale (Niamh Blackshaw) and has since been watching the couple from afar.

They were both left shaken recently when they realised there had been a burglary.

Nothing appeared to be taken amid the crime, except a photograph of Juliet with sibling Romeo (Owen Warner) and mum Donna-Marie Quinn (Lucy Jo-Hudson).

Juliet quickly pointed the finger at her mum Donna-Marie but the former drug addict protested her innocence.

However, fans of the Channel 4 soap are now certain that Peri’s killer father Cameron Campbell (Cameron Moore) is stalking his daughter and her girlfriend.

During Monday’s first-look episode, a man could be seen yet again watching the young girls from a distance.

Taking to Twitter, one fan posted: “I think the guy stalking Peri is Cameron. His hands seemed familiar.”

Another added: “Is that Cameron stalking Peri?”

A third person posted: “Who is that man? If it’s not Cameron i don’t want it.”

While a fourth viewer said: “Imagine it’s Cameron watching Peri.”

Cameron made his first appearance in June 2014 and is the childhood sweetheart of Leela Lomax and the father of her daughter, Peri.

He has been in prison after Leela’s mother, Sam, framed him to get him out of the picture.

He made his last appearance back in 2017 going down for six murders – one of which was his own brother Lockie Campbell.

Is Cameron back in the village? If so, what has brought him back?

Hollyoaks fans also think that dodgy businessman Fergus Collins (Robert Beck) could be involved in the creepy ordeal.

Earlier this year, he installed secret cameras to spy on Peri in her bedroom.

Fergus managed to persuade Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) to get the CCTV and claimed he smelled gas in the property.

He ordered Ste and Peri out of the home and had a series of secret cameras installed throughout the house.

Fans have since witnessed sick Fergus spying on Peri as she got changed via his laptop.

Is Cameron in on Fergus’ disturbing money-making scheme where he charges customers to watch young girls in their bedrooms.

Viewers will have to wait and find out the identity of Peri’s stalker.

Hollyoaks airs weekdays on Channel 4 at 6.30 followed by first-look episodes on E4 at 7pm
