Hollyoaks' Grace issues warning to Felix before club re-opening ends in disaster

Hollyoaks fans will witness Grace Black (Tamara Wall) prepare for the grand re-opening of The Loft in Friday’s first-look episode on E4 but the event ends in a disaster.

In the exclusive clip from the upcoming episode, Grace is nervous about the big re-launch and tells boyfriend Felix Westwood (Richard Blackwood) she could lose everything if it doesn’t go to plan.

Grace is over the moon when Felix puts up her new sign ahead of the big event but she has her reservations.

A proud Felix tells Grace: “Told you we didn’t need to shed out big amounts for a big, expensive builder.”

Grace replies: “Yeah I guess so.”

“What, you don’t like it?” Her boyfriend asks.

She replies: “No no I do like it. I’m just nervous. I can’t live off online cocktail making classes. I can’t afford for tonight’s re-launch to fail.”

Felix adds: “That’s even more reason why you should like me loose on the decks,” before breaking into a little dance.

An unimpressed Grace responds: “We’ve discussed this. Your taste is a bit Top Of The Pops 2.”

Grace tells Felix Westwood that if the re-launch is a fail she will “loose everything”

He hits back: “Hey, I have you know back in the day I was referred to as a DJ of love. I got the dance floor heaving in seconds.”

Grace jokes: “Are you sure you’re talking about the dance floor and not peoples stomachs?”

The concerned businesswoman later adds: “If this doesn’t work. I could lose everything.”

Little does Grace know that dodgy Fergus Collins (Robert Beck) has set out to sabotage her big day.

The Loft sign falls and injures Darren Osborne during Friday’s first-look episode

The resident gangster has a trick up his sleeve to hurt Grace but an unsuspecting Darren Osborne (Ashley Taylor Dawson) is ultimately caught in the crossfire.

He’s aware that Grace hasn’t got insurance, and therefore he tells newcomer Timmy to keep a watchful eye out, while he loosens the bolts on the nightclub’s new sign.

Meanwhile, Darren is struggling to choose whether he wants to spend the rest of his life with Nancy Osborne (Jessica Fox) or Mandy Richardson (Sarah Jayne Dunn).

Darren is rushed to hospital after being hit by the sign

After much deliberation and some assistance from his best pal Luke Morgan (Gary Lucy), he ultimately makes a big decision.

Heading to The Loft, Darren instructs Mandy to meet him there.

However, before he can reveal his choice, tragedy strikes, as the sign collapses onto him.

Next week, Darren is rushed to hospital, where Mandy and Nancy discover that he’s in a coma, and his condition takes a turn for the worse later in the week.

Things become a tad awkward when Mandy is allowed in to visit Darren, as she is technically still his next of kin.

Desperate to do something, Nancy decides to confront Grace in upcoming scenes.

Mandy, later, confronts Nancy and demands to know what exactly went on between her and Darren prior to the accident.

However, she has a shocking announcement of her own to make – one which comes as a huge blow to Nancy.

Will Darren die just as he chooses between Mandy and Nancy?

Hollyoaks spoilers have revealed that this marks the start of a series of terrible events for Grace, as Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) declares that he’s the new manager of The Loft in upcoming scenes, and she even ends up in the back of a police car.

Hollyoaks airs weekdays on Channel 4 at 6.30pm followed by a first look episode on E4 at 7pm
