Home and Away’s Mackenzie Booth (Emily Weir) has been left heartbroken after being suddenly dumped by her boyfriend Ari Parata (Rob Kipa-Williams), who has discovered he has feelings for Mia.
Not only that, she has been facing the agonising decision about whether she needs to tell him that she is expecting his child, and seems to be leaning towards terminating the pregnancy, much to her brother Dean’s horror.
She eventually decides to come clean about the baby after Ari gives her a heartfelt apology for how he handled things, but tragedy soon strikes – is she going to lose the baby?
Just as she is coming to her decision, both she and Mia are devastated to discover that Ari has been left unconscious by a hit and run accident.

Dean tells Mac that she should go and visit Ari in hospital while he recovering from his surgery, and she hesitantly agrees to go and support him.
However, she is left heartbroken to discover Mia at his bedside, and quickly flees, not knowing that Mia is making a secret promise to fix everything if it will bring Ari out of the coma.

Is Mia going to decide to break things off with Ari to try and make everything right between him and Mac again?
Actress Emily, who plays Mac, has hinted that there is plenty more to come in the storyline, as Ari is yet to find out about the baby.
Talking to Daily Star, she said: “Mac has been left totally devastated by Ari’s confession about Mia, she didn’t see it coming at all.

“Of course she is hoping that he is suddenly going to see sense and realise it is her that he wants to be with, not Mia, but who knows if it will happen?”
She also hinted that the potential baby they could share together could bring them closer together, adding: “I think it would mean a lot to Ari to know that he was becoming a dad.
“It could definitely end up bringing Mac and Ari closer together to share something so important together, it’s such a big thing.”
She added: “She definitely still loves him, she was gutted by the split,” before hinting that Ari could also still have some feelings for her.
Could Mac and Ari end up getting back together as she tells him about the pregnancy?
