Love Island fans are certain that Lucinda Strafford was still with her sports star ex-boyfriend just two weeks before heading into the villa.
Lucinda was coupled up with Premier League footballer Aaron Connolly – who is still looking after her pet dog – ahead of the show.
Aaron, who plays for Brighton and Hove Albion, was said to have dated Lucinda for two years, before the pair split.
The pair were then reported to have reconciled, with Aaron taking care of Lucinda’s pooch while she’s abroad.
And now new clues have emerged that the pair could even be back together while Lucinda is off flirting with the lads in the villa, after pictures posted to Instagram suggested she was at the star’s luxurious pad just two weeks before heading to Majorca.
The couple originally began an Instagram account dedicated to the house they shared, dubbed ourfirsthomeno4 – though the account has since been deleted.
The Argus reported in November last year that the couple set up the account to offer a glimpse into the swanky house, which features extensive modern decking around the outside, with a lounge area that looks into the lush garden.
But one Twitter user was quick to point out the similarities between photographs of the house originally shared to Instagram, which showed Lucinda relaxing in a sleek grey lingerie set against what appeared to be the first-floor balcony wall.
The triangular windows of the house could be glimpsed behind her as she chilled in what looks to be a hot tub, with her brunette hair pulled into a sleek ponytail.
“Let me remind you,” Lucinda captioned the snap, which was posted on June 23rd this year.
The social media user who originally pointed out the discrepancy penned: “Not Lucinda posting pictures from her and her boyfriend’s house 2.5 weeks before she went into the villa. Rumbled!” with a crying emoji.
But another user was quick to point out that the image had originally been posted back in February – when the couple were still together.
Lucinda originally captioned the post: “Pretending it’s summer in February.”
The original Twitter user replied to the post, penning: “I stand corrected! However it is also sus posting this June with the same kitchen? Something doesn’t add up to me.”
And she had receipts – in one post from June 10, Lucinda could be seen hanging out on the balcony, which featured grey faux-wooden flooring, in a cute pale blue top and shorts.
“It’s officially bbq season,” she wrote alongside the snap – indicating that it had likely been summer when the picture was taken.
Someone else pointed out: “In an interview with Shannon, she said she was supposed to be on the year before so she had a year to prepare or something?
“So she must have known she was going into Love Island when she was still with him.”
Daily Star Page 3 girl Shannon told Closer at the time of her dumping: “I started speaking to [the producers] just at the start of the first lockdown, which was about March, April [2020]. And then I didn’t actually get confirmed fully until, the end of April or May, this year.”
However, it is not known when exactly Lucinda entered into talks with show bosses.

The account also featured displays of the gorgeous kitchen, with plush grey chairs lined up at a bar and low-key wooden furnishings.
Similar velour chairs can be seen arranged around a stone dining table, with boxes stacked up as the couple moved into the property.
Most stunning is a bathroom at the very top of the property, with triangular windows that look out onto a patch of trees, and a free-standing minimalist tub in the centre of the room.
Love Island continues on Tuesday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVHub.
