Love Island 2021 is in full swing, with plenty of tears, drama and shock dumpings already underway.
This week’s drama from the ITV2 series has brought us breakups between Sharon and Aaron and Kaz and Toby, with Chloe and Toby sharing a snog on Thursday’s show.
But things are due to heat up even more – with teaser footage for tonight’s Friday night episode showing another sexy singleton – Teddy Soares enter the villa.
The new hunky contestant is a 26 year old senior financial consultant from Manchester.
Teddy, who describes himself as a relationship guy, has said that he’s coming on the show to find love.
Who is Teddy Soares?
“I think I’m ready for love now,” Teddy told ITV. “Law of attraction is probably what I believe in, so being in the villa is part of that thought process… If I do find someone in the villa, I’m going to take it seriously.”
Talking on the show, Teddy kept his cards close to his chest and refused to disclose which girl he’d go after. That being said, he suggested he’d “not [be] afraid to step on toes to get the girl I want”.
“From a girls’ standpoint, they’re going to have to get used to me stirring a few pots and causing a bit of a ruckus. I do think hopefully, me walking into the villa the girls will have something to look at,” Teddy said.
But the Manchester born hunk also let on that he has a soft side. “I’m cuddly, caring and all my friends, when they have an issue, they call me and confide in me… I think I’m going to add that element with the boys.”
Teddy’s arrival couldn’t have come at a better time for the girls, after every single guy has dumped them to then move on to someone else.
Tensions have risen between Faye Winter and Chloe Burrows, and Kaz Kamwi was left upset after Toby Aromolaran said he wanted to ‘explore his options’ with Chloe.
Aaron Francis decided to cut ties with Sharon Gaffka, claiming she was “too much drama” after her fight with Hugo the day before.
Meanwhile, Rachel Finni was left crying over Brad McClelland, who she believed ‘used her as a placeholder’ before someone he was interested in arrived.
Love Island continues tonight on ITV2 at 9pm.
