Ibiza Weekender star Imogen Townley has undergone a complete transformation by shaving her head, looking a far cry from her reality tv appearance.
The 28-year-old has took to Instagram to debut the new look and confessed that she felt “liberated” after cutting off her long brunette locks.
Captioning the stunning photo, she wrote: “Bare to be beautiful. As I continue to shed the parts of myself that do not define who I am the closer I find myself exploring what true love and acceptance is.
“I’ve found these last few years has just been steps of peeling back the layers of an identity built on pressure, public opinion & conditioning of the distorted society we live in.”
Imogen said that shaving her head felt “empowering” and that she was happy to no longer be living behind a “mask” and to be letting go of past insecurities.
Imogen continued: “They say that the hair holds memories and for me, these memories and old energies of believing I am unworthy, unattractive and unloveable are no longer truth of the person I have become.
“I am a Devine creation! Complete and whole. And as I find myself being called back home to my heart I knew it was time to let these old beliefs and attachments go! To shed it all and come into complete bareness so I could truly see all of me and all of my beauty in all its raw uniqueness.”
“Letting go of my hair has been so liberating & empowering and given me a sense of total freedom that I have never felt before.
“Of course there been some moments of discomfort but all of these emotions have been completely welcomed as I meet those still conditioned parts of myself with love and gentleness, holding myself in this vulnerability and guiding myself back to truth.
She concluded by saying she was proud of her “beautiful bald head” and felt “total freedom”.
“Everyday I get to look at my beautiful bald head and smile and remember all that I have been and all I have become. I am beauty with no edges, beauty that no longer hides behind the mask. Just true beautiful perfection,” she finished.
Imogen shot to fame on Ibiza Weekender for six seasons, from 2013 to 2017.
The former reality star has embarked on a journey of holistic health and environmental activism since starring on the hit show and was recently seen in Glastonbury at an earth celebration.
