I’m A Celebrity drop new trailer as Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly arrive at castle

Ant and Dec have teased the return of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! with a new trailer showing them donning medieval armour on the grounds of Gwrych Castle in North Wales

In the latest video, the Geordie dup can be seen dressed as knights huddling around a campfire, with the pair looking freezing as they battle the cold weather.

The narrator in the clip said: “Two heroes shall brave the elements to ready the camp.”

Dec responds: “It’s a bit chilly”.

Ant said: “I can’t imagine anything colder?”

Dec then asked: “A frosty reception at Cledwyn’s?”, referring to Kiosk Cledwyn, who replaced Kiosk Kev on last year’s series.

Ant responds: “I’d still rather take my chances out here.”

It comes after some of the celebs were spotted moving into cottages in Angelsey near Gwrych Castle, the ITV show’s location for the second year running, over the weekend.

The flagship show is returning to Wales due to ongoing Coronavirus travel restrictions, preventing filming at its usual location of the Australian jungle.

The trailer finishes with the pair running off after the heavens open in Wales, as excitement builds for the series which starts later this month.

Last weekend, names of 13 celebrities who are rumoured set to feature on the show were released.

Stars who are rumoured to appear on the gruesome challenge show include former BBC Breakfast host Louise Minchin, Saturday’s singer Frankie Bridge, Corrie’s Simon Gregson and EastEnders legend, Adam Woodyatt.

Other names believed to be entering the castle include David Ginola, Arlene Phillips, Kadeena Cox, Danny Miller, Naughty Boy and Snoochie Shy.

A show spokesperson previously revealed the cast will be forced to quarantine for two weeks ahead of filming

“Like last year, our celebrities will do a two week quarantine with regular testing prior to entering the castle, and will then form a bubble for the duration of their time on the show.”

Last year, I’m A Celebrity required the celebrities to wear proximity monitors which flashed and buzzed when they came too close to one another.

Bosses also scaled down the production team, and had cameras set up already on-site so cameramen didn’t have to be on the set.

The stars will all be heading to Gwrych Castle in north Wales for series 21 which starts on November 21.
