I'm A Celeb's Kadeena Cox axed from ITV show after failing to win public votes

Kadeena Cox has become the second famous face to be given the boot from the latest series of ITV’s I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!.

Hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly entered camp at the end of Monday’s episode to announce the result of the recent public vote.

Kadeena and Louise Minchin found themselves in the bottom two and nervously awaited their fate.

However, it was Kadeena who received the least amount of votes and the Olympian was immediately ejected from Gwrych Castle.

Viewers rushed to their keyboards to discuss the news that the popular campmate will be leaving the show.

Another added: “Sad to see Kadeena leave. She smashed it!”

A third person posted: “I’m so sad kadeena has been eliminated she was lovely and had so much more to give.”

Former Strictly Come Dancing judge Arlene Phillips became the first star to be evicted from camp during Sunday’s show.

At 78 years old, the choreographer was the oldest ever celebrity to take part in the gruelling reality show.

Earlier in the series, Good Morning Britain presenter Richard Madeley was forced to quit the show after falling ill.

The journalist was transported to hospital on November 25 as a “precaution” however, the 65-year-old star broke the show’s Covid-19 isolation “bubble” and had to leave the series.

Taking to Instagram to discuss his shock departure from the show, Richard said: “Hello all!

“Richard here – firstly just to say that I’m absolutely FINE.

“I started to feel briefly unwell in the small hours of the morning and was taken to hospital as a precaution.

“By leaving the camp, I had consequently broken the Covid ‘bubble’ and as such I’ve had to leave the castle and all the wonderful celebs that remain in the camp.”

He continued: “Obviously I’m gutted to be leaving so soon but the safety of all the campmates is the number one priority.

“I’m incredibly excited to watch their journey continue…even more so at the prospect of being somewhere a little warmer than Gwrych Castle.

“Thank you to everyone who supported me on my brief but completely unforgettable adventure – I’ve made some great friends and honestly had the time of my life.”

I’m A Celebrity continues Tuesday night on ITV and ITV Hub at 9pm
