Married At First Sight UK star Josh Christie may be hoping to find love on the E4 show but the chiselled hunk is also making a second – or third – attempt at a reality TV series.
Josh, 26, has previously graced screens, appearing on E4’s Shipwrecked alongside Chris Jammer, Brad Mattinson, Danielle Collins and Troy Cook.
The singleton – who will marry his mystery bride in tonight’s MAFS UK – is hoping that by marrying on the first date, he will find his happily ever after and settle down.
But where else have viewers seen Josh? Daily Star has delved into the archives to unearth the insight on the West Londoner as he goes in search of happiness.
While Josh currently works in the insurance sector, he is also listed as the founder of Flamingo, an exclusive invite-only event night held in London’s swanky Jako club.
Aside from this, Josh has also become a respected model, gracing the catwalk at events such as London Fashion Week and appearing in some of the biggest magazines including Vogue.
While Josh may have dreamed of finding fame on Shipwrecked, his time on the programme was cut short when he jetted home following the deterioration of his grandfather’s health.
His grandfather had been rushed to hospital, with Josh making the decision to head back to the UK to spend time with his loved ones.
Announcing the news to his campmates in the 2019 series, he said: “I’ve been in touch with family back home, I’ve been notified that I have a family emergency so this has caused me to leave with immediate effect from this competition.
“I’ve met some really good people and I don’t want you guys to get upset.”
However, this isn’t his only brush with TV stardom, as he appeared as a guest on ITV’s hit programme Ibiza Weekender – enjoying a lads trip to the White Isle with some of his closest friends.
While attempting to carve out a name in the entertainment industry, Josh had been a keen rugby player, even playing at national level for Jamaica.
However, he was banned from the sport in 2018 after World Rugby published the results of an anti-doping programme.
Josh’s rugby career was cut short after he tested positive for a banned substance during the Hong Kong Sevens in April 2018.
Tests showed that the steroid drostanolone had been present in his system – a claim he didn’t contest, which resulted in him being banned for four years.
Daily Star has approached Josh’s representatives for further comment.
